The Culture of Yahweh

What is Culture?

“The training and development of a society through the collection and maintenance of its history, morals, traditions, customs and general way-of-life to build and maintain an overall maturity, cohesiveness and growth in its relationship to the greater world and larger universe.

gggghhhh

This process of culture encompasses language, iconography, symbology and artistic and creative expression in the personality of a people in the society. This includes a social and religious structure that can not be separated from the intellectual and artistic manifestation that characterizes a society.  The culture has and will always have a historically bases religious belief system, whether covert or overt.  To understand the people and their culture you must first acknowledge and understand the history of their spiritual and religious practices and how they relate to the Creator.”[1]

As Judeo-Christian believers we need to ask:

What was the Culture of Yahweh?

Yahweh, YHVH or the European name Jehovah was the name of the God of the Biblical Exodusing Hebrews. Before that time, the Hebrews referred him as Adonai, Elohim or El and many variation on El as El Shaddai, El Elyon, El Ro-i and many other names too numerous to mention. The name Yahweh as revealed to the biblical Moses in Exodus 3:14 is as follows.

“And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”

Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh’

The Hebrew phrase above is I am that I am or I will be what I will be.

“The name Ehyeh (Hebrew: אֶהְיֶה) denotes God's potency in the immediate future, and is part of YHWH. The phrase "Ehyeh-Asher-Ehyeh" (Exodus 3:14) is interpreted by some authorities as "I will be because I will be", using the second part as a gloss and referring to God's promise, "Certainly I will be [Ehyeh] with thee" (Exodus 3:12). Other authorities claim that the whole phrase forms one name. The Targum Onkelos leaves the phrase untranslated, and is so quoted in the Talmud (B. B. 73a). The "I am that I am" of the Authorized Version is based on this view.

"I am that I am" (Hebrew: אהיה אשר אהיה, pronounced Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh) is the sole response used in (Exodus 3:14) when Moses asked for God's name. It is one of the most famous verses in the Hebrew Bible. Hayah means "existed" or "was" in Hebrew; Ehyeh is the first-person singular imperfect form. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh is generally interpreted to mean "I will be what I will be", I shall be what I shall be or I am that I am (King James Bible and others). The Tetragrammaton itself may derive from the same verbal root.”

The term Hayah later rendered the root of the Tetragrammaton [יהוה] that was later pronounced and transliterated into Yahweh with the consonants of Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey and the vowels of Adonai.

“…the original Hebrew texts only included consonants. Some scholars’ conject that the name was pronounced "Yahweh", although some suggest that it never had a pronunciation (which is extremely unlikely given that it is found as an element in numerous Hebrew names). The Hebrew letters are named Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh: יהוה; note that Hebrew is written from right to left, rather than left to right as in English. In English it is written as YHWH, YHVH, or JHVH depending on the transliteration convention that is used. The Tetragrammaton was written in contrasting Paleo-Hebrew [Canaanite] characters in some of the oldest surviving square Aramaic Hebrew texts, and it is speculated that it was, even at that period, read as Adonai ("My Lord") when encountered.”

Question:

Does the name/term Hayah [I AM] mean the same as Yahweh? Maybe as the translators claim?  Let’s look at the last part:

“Hayah means "existed" or "was" in Hebrew; Ehyeh is the first-person singular imperfect form. Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh is generally interpreted to mean "I will be what I will be", I shall be what I shall be or I am that I am (King James Bible and others). The Tetragrammaton itself may derive from the same verbal root.”

Did you see that? It may derive from Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh. The explanation is a bit convoluted.  Let’s define May or Maybe:

“May meaning perhaps? Maybe or May Be? Maybe, the compound word is an adverb meaning "perhaps" or "possibly." May be is a verb phrase meaning "might be" or "could be."[2]

So, it possibly could mean, that is probably that is may mean, or might be the same as Yahweh and it possibly could not mean Yahweh. So, is it at least a 50/50 chance, right? That is a problem if we need to know the name of the deity we are following it should be more than a maybe.

Psalms 145:2 -“My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.”

Proverbs 20:25 -“It is a snare to the man who devours that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.”

What else could it mean if it was not Yahweh?  According to some Bible translations the name Yahweh [HWHY] was not know before a certain time in Hebraic history. Why is that?

“The name YHWH is often reconstructed as Yahweh or oftentimes Jehovah in the English language. The name YHWH is likely to be the origin of the Yao of Gnosticism [The doctrine of salvation by knowledge. This definition is based on the etymology of the word (gnosis "knowledge", gnostikos, "good at knowing")]. A minority view considers it to be cognate to an uncertain reading "Yaw" for the god Yam in damaged text of the Baal Epic. If the Heh’s [h] in the Tetragrammaton hwhy are seen as sacred augmentation similar to those in Abraham (from Abram meaning father of elevation’) and Sarah (from Sarai), then the association becomes clearer.”

What make one maybe greater than another likely?

“Though the final Heh [H] in Yahweh would not necessarily have been pronounced in classical Hebrew, the medial Heh [h] would have almost certainly been pronounced. Other possible vocalizations include a mappiq in the final Heh, rendering it pronounced — most likely with a gliding Patah (a-sound) before it.”

The prohibition of blasphemy, for which capital punishment is prescribed in Jewish law, refers only to the Tetragrammaton (Soferim iv., end; comp. Sanh. 66a).” [3]

This law of not using the name of Yahweh was implemented only after Babylonian captivity, but it did not stop the people from prefixing Jah, Iah or Yah to the names of their children and therefore saying each time the name was called. So what was the deal?  In other translations, like the South African Sacred Name Bible, The Scriptures’ claims Exodus 6:3 are in the form of a question concerning the name of Yahvah/Yahweh/Hayah.

SNB:  “I appeared therefore unto Abraham, unto Isaac and unto Jacob as El-Almighty, although by MY name YAHVAH was I not made known to them?”

This would imply the name Yahweh was always known to them. Others translated Yahweh as El Shaddai and the God Almighty as seen below.

KTC: “…I am the same Lord who revealed myself to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; but although I revealed myself as God the Almighty, my name Adonai I did not make known to them.”

[“The verb is the Niphal form נוֹדַעְתִּי (noda’ti). If the text had wanted to say, “I did not make myself known,” then a Hiphil form would have been more likely. It is saying, “but by my name Yahweh I was not known to them.”]

Footnote: 'Adonai'; in the Hebrew test, 'Javé', for which the word 'Adonai', 'my Lord', was sometimes substituted from motives of reverence. Hence the Latin [Roman] version regularly gives 'the Lord' where the Hebrew text uses Javé.”

So, he was known by another name El Shaddai [God Almighty], but the title Adonai [Yahweh] was not known to them. I Am What I Am or I Will Be What I Will be. Can we find another reference for Hayah, Javé, Hya or Hu?  How could the name be unknown to them? Could this be an initiatory reference for the Hebrews? Moses did not seem surprised by the name or unfamiliar with it.

Ra, Osiris and the 12

Hu/Hayah

Who was Hu?

“The HU has been in use for thousands of years by many different cultures and religious groups as a means to have a greater conscious contact with the Light and Sound of God. Texts or practices of the ancient Egyptians, Gnostics, and Greek mystery schools, Druids, Sufi, Hermetic, early Christian, Coptic, Africans and the modern Eckankar movement have or still use the HU." Hu, the Sun-God was murdered and, after a number of strange ordeals and mystic rituals, was restored to life."

Hya - "Definitions: sigh, the sighing of one searching, or desiring, someone or something. Associated spellings/words: hay; hva." (Hebrew)”[4]

He will be what he will be…in your [sighing] desire for Him, He will be.

“The name Hayah from ‘I will be what [or who] I will be’, is a valid postulation, and we can as was shown substitute of the name Adon or Adonai for the unmentionable Yahweh.”

“Jews also call God Adonai, Hebrew for "Lord" (Hebrew: אֲדֹני). Formally, this is plural ("my Lords"), but the plural is usually construed as a respectful, and not a syntactic plural. (The singular form is Adoni, "my lord". This was used by the Phoenicians for the god Tammuz and is the origin of the Greek name Adonis. Jews only use the singular to refer to a distinguished person.)”

Hummm… usually construed as respectful? There is something hidden here. Is it a cover-up?

Let us look at another view:

“Egyptologists have also vocalized the name as Aton, Atonu, Itni, Itn, and Adon (possibly the source of one of the Hebrew God's names, Adon). (Adon literally means Lord in Hebrew, so this possibility is as likely as not. It is the same as the title "Baal" That some Acadian and Pleshet gods were given)”.[5]

Aden, Eden and Adon all from the same unusual Hebrew root word meaning: to rule

“And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty [El Shaddai], but by my name JEHOVAH [Yahweh] was I not known to them.” Ex. 6:3.

HaShem and Adonai -

“Since pronouncing YHWH is considered sinful [since their time in Babylon ] Jews use Adonai instead in prayers, and colloquially would use Hashem ("the Name, a memorial or mark"). When the Masoretes added vowel pointing to the text of the Hebrew Bible in the first century CE, they gave the word YHWH the vowels of Adonai, to remind the reader to say Adonai instead.” [6]

Here we seethe name Adonai which is Adon’ai is a root of a word fond outside of Israel and relates to their time in Egypt .  The title Adon/Aten is connected according to Sigmund Freud, Ahmed Osman and the evidence found at Qumran .  Qumran lies close to the Dead Sea at its north western end; some 40 km east of Jerusalem , the evidence is called the Dead Sea Scrolls.

[7]In March 1952, Henri de Contenson, an archaeologist seconded from France to work with the team at the École Biblique in East Jerusalem, was leading a team of ten Bedouin, when he discovered two lumps of what is now known as the Copper Scroll, in a hillside cave, some 2 km from Qumran

Other Dead Sea Scrolls confirm this finding in incontrovertible detail. The New Jerusalem Scroll, for example, which by the way never mentions Jerusalem , ties its descriptions to Akhenaton’s Holy Temple . Recently Michael Chyutin, and Shlomo Margalit, Israeli architects have conducted independent studies on the Scroll and come to the conclusion it is almost certainly describing Akhenaton’s city at modern day Amarna. Without the explanation I have put forward, for a link from Amarna down to the possessors and authors of the New Jerusalem Scroll, conventional history have no answer to the problem…”

Akhenaton and Nefertiti

The scroll found in Jerusalem :

“The logical conclusion is the information in the Temple Scroll , in its original form, existed before Moses, and it described the plan of a real temple that was not the Temple at Jerusalem . The details must have been handed down in secret through a distinct line of Levitical [Egyptian] priests, to the Qumran Essenes, who based their copy on the original version. [See the Anu and Moses articles].

When the Qumran Essenes built their main settlement building at Qumran in ‘exact’ alignment to the main walls of Akhenaton’s Temple , and constructed 10 ritual washing pools, they were echoing a recorded memory of that Temple . Uniquely, and unknown from anywhere else in Israel, one of the ritual washing ‘Mikvaot’ has four divisions – just as one of the ritual washing basins in the Temple at Ankhenaten exhibited.

Mikvah

Akhenaton showered by the Aten, the symbol for the Creator.

“That the name of Aten or Aton, the name by which Ankhenaten knew his God, is embedded throughout the Old Testament, has many attesters, from Sigmund Freud onwards. Many Egyptian names are read with the letter ‘D’ or the letter ‘T’ – Touchratta or Douchratta, Taphne or Daphne, and in Egyptian Coptic the letter D can be pronounced ‘D’ or ‘T’ . Thus, Aton could well be written ‘Adon -ai’ where ‘ai’ relates God to the Hebrews in the sense of ‘My Master’.”[8]   The Adon/Aten of all the earth is also found in the following verses:

The Aten with hands [rays] of Life

Psalm 97:5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of YHWH, at the presence of the Adon/Aten of the whole earth

Micah 4:13 Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion : for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto YHWH, and their substance unto the Adon/Aten of the whole earth.

Zech 4:14 Then said he, these [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Adon/Aten of the whole earth.

Zec. 6:5 And the angel answered and said unto me, these [are] the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Adon/Aten of all the earth.

Furthermore, the 3 pilgrim festivals mentioned in Ex. 23:17 and Ex. 34:23 are festivals of Adon/Aten.

Primarily these are harvest festivals where the Israelites are commanded to bring the first fruits of the harvest into the House ( Temple ) of YHWH.

Ex. 23:17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before Adon/Aten YHWH.”

Ex. 34:23 Three times in the year shall all your men children appear before Adon/Aten YHWH, the mighty one of Israel .[9]

So, we’ve seen the Hebrew deity [Yahweh or YHVH, Adonai and Hayah]] names are interchangeable with Egyptian deity names. Now, we must ask the question again:

Questions:

What was the Culture of Yahweh?

Was it already in Egypt or Midian at the time of the biblical Moses?

Was it anything different than what was already established in Egypt ?

Was the name unknown to the uninitiated?

Here is what one Harvard scholar says in the book Moses the Egyptian by Jan Assmann

“To account for the complexities of the foundational event through which monotheism was established, Moses the Egyptian goes back to the short-lived monotheistic revolution of the Egyptian king Ankhenaten (1360-1340 B.C.E.). Assmann traces the monotheism of Moses to this source, and then shows how his followers denied the Egyptians any part in the origin of their beliefs and condemned them as polytheistic idolaters. Thus began the cycle in which every "counter-religion," by establishing itself as truth, denounced all others as false.”[10]

What was the culture of the Hebraic Yahweh?

“The training and development of a society by those Hebraic/Israelites who came to believe in Yahweh through family history, mores, traditions, customs and general way-of-life for an overall maturity, cohesiveness and growth for Israel to be obedient to that deity.”[11]

The social and religious structures, and the intellectual and artistic manifestations, that characterize a society obedient to Yahweh, which historically based on a religious belief system used in a covert or overt manner. This culture was wholly and completely originally Egyptian.

As the first definition states: Religion is covertly or overtly entrenched in all culture. It includes but is not limited to:

1. Family History - Genealogies and family stories.

2. Mores - Includes ethnicity.

3. Traditions - Family ways repeated over and over.

4. Customs - Clothes, foods, hierarchy in family.

5. Overall maturity - How the man's relationship with Yah and his family increases in understanding.

6. Art - Music, cooking, painting and renderings, home and sanctuary building.

7. Man's view of the Creator and himself - How man exists in this space-time continuum.

In any culture, the name or attributed names of the God you served must be known/revealed to the people in order for them to call upon or access that deity for wisdom, assistance, comfort and worship.  The name [s], when found must then be agreed upon and understood by priesthood and people when revealed. Every society, culture, family and person has a religious belief as stated above.

In the book of Genesis we see a statement is made without any precursor or explanation of the Creator.

'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.'

The Hebrews believed, like so many of our people, that God [El] the Creator had no beginning and no end.  He is the Uncaused-Cause.  The Egyptian believed that it was a basic ‘knowing’ in the Universe that caused everything to be.

This Uncaused-Cause, created [brought into being the elements of] heavens and earth and all it entailed, visible and invisible. From that viewpoint everything had a meaning - based on the One who was the initiator of the creation, one man could see and understand. That being was the Creator in the Hebrew Bible that being that was called Elohim and then became Yahweh. This name was assigned to him in reverence, familiarity, assistance, dependence, oblation, praise and sacrifice partly because of the attributes exhibited in the seen world and partly because of his ‘hidden nature’.

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”[12]

The definition of Godhead from the Strong’s Concordance means: A god or goddess, a general name of deities or divinities. [Grk].

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” [13]

It was only later in the Hebrew Bible that a more succinct name was given to him through Moses and from that encounter a re-defined culture was developed for the Hebrews out of Egypt .  It was not that the culture of the Creator did not exist before this time it did as chronicled by earlier writings and later in the Bible by the Apostle Shaul's letter to the Romans.  The Biblical Adam and his sons understood the original culture and adhered to it as did Enoch who ‘walked with the Creator and was not’.

Excerpt from the book of Enoch, here they use male and female terms for the luminaries; although this is an apocryphal book it does show how the concept of God’s luminaries [the things that represent him in the heavens] are male and female. Apocrypha (from the Greek word απόκρυφα meaning "those having been hidden away", in ancient times the term apocrypha referred to any collection of scriptural texts that falls outside the canon. Today it has taken on a very negative connotation. Although many denominations have differing views on what is anon and what is not.

The Book of Enoch as used in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church:

“And on the first day she is called the NEW MOON, for on that day the LIGHT RISES upon her. And WHEN THE MOON RISES one-fourteenth part appears in the heaven: [the light becomes FULL] Enoch 78.And when in like manner its light is to exist, 79 its light is an even portion from the light of the sun. (79) And when in is to exist. i.e.,

WHEN THE MOON IS FULL (Knibb, p. 171). Thus it rises, and at its commencement {BEGINNING} towards the EAST goes forth for thirty days.  1Enoch 72

When her light is uniform (i.e. FULL MOON considered the female to the male Sun) it amounts to the seventh part of the light of the sun. And THUS SHE RISES. And her FIRST PHASE in the EAST comes forth on the thirtieth morning: and on that day she becomes visible, and constitutes for you the FIRST PHASE of the MOON. 73.

Here we see in the apocryphal book of Enoch he watched the moon and stars in order to worship and feast the Creator and the Moon was feminine representation as the Sun was a masculine representation of the ‘Hidden One’ or the Amen.

'And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said Let there be light and there was light....And God said 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night, and let them [lights = sun, moon, stars and planets] be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years. ' Genesis 1: 2, 14.

The Biblical Noah and his sons understood the Mo'ed or signs in the Heavens. Otherwise they would not have known when to plant his vineyard after the Biblical account of the deluge.  There has always been a religious culture that depended upon the appointed times and seasons.

The Name

[Ha Shem]

Shem shame a primitive word (perhaps rather from 7760 through the idea of definite and conspicuous position; Compare 8064); an appellation, as a mark or memorial of individuality; by implication honor, authority, character:--+ base, (in-)fame(-ous), named(-d), renown, report.

An apellation is a name or title or designation. A designation is:

1 : the act of indicating or identifying
2 : appointment to or selection for an office, post, or service
3 : a distinguishing name, sign, or title
4 : the relation between a sign and the thing signified

What post or office was identified with he name or title HaShem? What sign? You may e surprised.

I was once asked a simple question “What is the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit?’ I thought about it and said glibly the name f the father is father, the name of the Son is Son and the name of the Holy Ghost is Holy Ghost. But that is ignorant, but I was at a loss for word.  We find the answers from the church are glib answers to serious questions.

Webster’s Dictionary says the definition of a name is:

“A word or words by which an entity is designated and distinguished from all others.”

So, what’s the name of the Father? Yahweh. What is the name of the Son? Yahshua. And what is the name of the Holy Ghost? Well, the Holy Ghost lost its [her] name. The name father, the name Son and the name Holy Ghost are titles--only titles.

Let’s look at this:

Proverbs 30:4, then, which says, "Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if you know?"

Every Christian believes that YahShua/Jesus, the son’ in Trinitarian terms is at the right hand of the Father and the significance of the right hand means power and omnipotence.

“…the right hand denotes eminent power, derives its origin from the fact that they who in the Grand Man or Heaven have relation to the shoulders, the arms, and the hands, are they who are powerful from the truth which is from good…”[14]

We know the name or the son in biblical terms was not Jesus or Jehovah, but are we certain it is YahShua and Yahweh?

Hieroglyph is Hieroglyph a Hieroglyph ha Hieroglyph moon

Moon [Yah]

“It is interesting that the earliest references to the name Yah (Yaeh) refer to the moon as a satellite of the earth in its physical form. From this, the term becomes conceptualized as a lunar deity, pictorially anthropomorphic but whose manifestations, from hieroglyphic evidence, can include the crescent of the new moon, the ibis and the falcon, which is comparable to the other moon deities, Thoth [Thoth is an unusual god. Though some stories place him as a son of Ra, others say that Thoth created himself through the power of language], and Khonsu [Khonsu is the son of Amun/Amen and Mut, and is the god of the moon A young man in the posture of a mummy with the royal side-lock and punt beard].[15]

The Hebraic name of Jesus is Yah-Shua or Yah-Oshea means Yah-weh is Salvation and possibly the Yahweh of Salvation.  The name was translated into English as Jesus from the Greek Ieosus and in the 1611 King James Version is Zeus. The letter ‘J’ is a 500 year old letter from the English alphabet and did not exist in either Greek or Hebrew in Abraham, Moses or Jesus’ time.

Note: Zeus being the Greek version of the Egyptian Ammon or Amen ' the concealed of hidden one.'  Amen is invoked at the end of each prayer and most scripture.

Why do we even say Amen? What is the root of the word?  Let us look at the first time it is used [translated to be Amen] in the Hebrew scriptures.

The Jealousy Ordeal: Numbers 5:11-22.

“‘Then the priest will bring her near and have her stand before the Lord. The Priest will then take holy water in a pottery jar, and take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle, and put it into the water. Then the priest will have the woman stand before the Lord, uncover the woman’s head, and put the grain offering for remembering in her hands, which is the grain offering of suspicion. The priest will hold in his hand the bitter water that brings a curse.  Then the priest will put the woman under oath and say to her, “If no other man has had sexual relations with you, and if you have not gone astray and become defiled while under your husband’s authority, may you be free from this bitter water that brings a curse. But if you have gone astray while under your husband’s authority and if you have defiled yourself and some man other than your husband has had sexual relations with you….”  Then the priest will put the woman under the oath of the curse and will say to the her, “The Lord make you an attested curse among your people, if the Lord makes your thigh fall away and your abdomen swell; and this water that causes the curse will go into your stomach, and make your abdomen swell and your thigh rot.” Then the woman must say, “Amen, amen.”

The word/phrase/title Amen is also used heavily in the Psalms and in the book of the Revelation 3:14 Jesus is "The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness". Amen" is a solemn affirmation of truth.

What did Jesus mean when he said ‘Verily, verily I say unto you?

“Oddly, to get a scriptural answer to what 'Amen' means, we go to a place where it is used not as the last word but the first word. Jesus would often start a solemn statement by saying "Verily" or "Truly". In John's gospel (e.g. John 3:3) Jesus is recorded as using the word twice in succession, "Verily, verily, I say to you...".  This is actually the word "Amen".[16]

The scripture should read:

“Amen, Amen I say unto you.”

Who was Amen or Ammon outside of the Hebrew context?

Amen with the feather or tabletted crown

His feathered crown looks like the icon of the tablets of Moses seen below:

Beside the picture of Amen is the icon of the 10 Commandments the shape of the feathered Crown and the shape of t tablets are the same. Is there a reason?

Feathered Crown with sun-disk and horns

Iconographically it is saying: The Law [feathered crown of Maat] God [Aten] or Almighty One with power and authority [Horns]. Which sit on the head of wisdom [Braided punt beard Osiris].

The Ram [of Sacrifice] which is also the symbol of Amen

Oriental Moses with Tablets

In some other Biblical passages...

“Instead of saying, "Amen, Amen" Jeremiah paraphrased the second Amen in his statement, "Amen, the Lord do so" (Jer. 28:6).”

“One of God's names or titles is "The God of Truth". If we left the last word un-translated, the title would read, "The God of Amen" (Isa. 65:16).”

“Paul uses the word as an affirmation when he says of Christ, "For as many as may be the promises of God, in him they are 'yes' and in him 'amen'" (2Co 1:20).”

“One of the names of Jesus is "The Amen, the Faithful and True Witness" (Rev 3:14).”

Amen was self-created, according to later traditions; according to the older Theban traditions, Amen was created by Thoth as one of the eight primordial deities of creation (Amen, Amenet, Heq, Heqet, Nun, Naunet, Kau, Kauket).

'In like manner the word "Amoun," or as it is expressed in the Greek language, "Ammôn," which is generally looked upon as the proper name of the Egyptian Zeus, is interpreted by Manetho the Sebennite  to signify "concealment" or "something which is hidden."

Hecataeus of Abdera indeed tells us that the Egyptians make use of this term when they call out to one another. If this be so, then their invoking Amoun is the same thing as calling upon the Supreme Being, whom they believe to be "hidden" and "concealed" in the universal nature, to appear and manifest itself to them. So cautious and reserved was the Egyptian wisdom in those things which appertained to religion.'

Amen which is used at the end of all prayers in Christianity refers to Ammon the hidden god...The Ashkenazi Jews say Ahmein - but it is the same none the less.  We have been told Amen meant so be it, but it does not it is in reverence to the Hidden One of Egypt - but remember the original Hebrews were children of the Egyptians.

Some say that in using Zeus as the name of YahShua was the height of blasphemy, but I would ask the question - was it a Remetz or a hidden meaning since Zeus was really Ammon/Amen the Hidden One and Messiah/Mess was hidden until he manifested himself in the flesh.

[Page 727] “THE Messianic mystery which has caused unparalleled mental trouble to the world did not originate with, nor was the solution to be found in, the biblical collection of the Hebrew writings. The Egyptian “Mesu”, to anoint, and as a name for the Anointed, is earlier than the Jewish Messiah. Nor would there have been any typical Christ the anointed but for the making of the Karest-mummy.”

"We have to look a long way beyond these books to learn how salvation came into the world by water, or a Saviour could be represented by the fish. It was thus salvation came to Egypt periodically in the new life of the Nile , and thence the Saviour, who was imaged in the likeness of a fish[17] [See Symbolism]."

Icthus

Is Yeshua an attribute of the Father? A sister once asked me who is Yeshua? At that time I as in an Apostolic Church and automatically said Jesus is Jehovah the Father and recited Isa. 6: to her.

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called; Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”[18]

I pointed out to her the part of ‘Everlasting Father.’ Little did I know at the time these were titles for a Pharaoh, Nebu, Negas and earthly kings and not exclusive to Yeshua. She then said I think of him as this: Just as Yah the Creator has the attributes of Yahweh Nissi, Yahweh Shalom, Yahweh Jireh,  Yahweh Tsidkenu, and Yahweh Rappha, He [The Father] is the arm that brings Salvation to mankind... and made himself Yahweh-Shua. He is Yahweh of the biblical Hebrews in the Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh mode or the I will be what I will be mode.

The Grandville Sharp Rule – [Greek]

“Basically, Granville Sharp's rule states that when you have two nouns, which are not proper names (such as Cephas, or Paul, or Timothy), which are describing a person, and the two nouns are connected by the word "and," and the first noun has the article ("the") while the second does not, *both nouns are referring to the same person*.”

In the texts, this is demonstrated by the words "God" and "Savior" at Titus 2:13 and 2 Peter 1:1. "God" has the article [the], it is followed by the word for "and," and the word "Savior" does not have the article [the]. Hence, both nouns are being applied to the same person, YahShua the Messiah, this rule is exceptionless. Simplistically, God and his Yeshua are one. In the Trinitarian view-point then Jesus is God, but what if Jesus us a manifested attribute of the Almighty just as peace, healing, seeing, provision and banner is to him?

Example: My husband, lover and friend.  This is one man and not three it is the same person.  So, in the above case with Yeshua you can see him as the attribute of the Father [one] as the Savior and not separate.  How can that be and still be so-called Monotheism?

Monotheism (from the Greek monos "only", and theos "god") is a word coined in comparatively modern times to designate belief in the one supreme God the Creator and Lord of the world, the eternal Spirit, All-powerful, All-wise, and All-good, the Rewarder of good and the Punisher of evil , the Source of our happiness and perfection.

Because, it was ever a question of worshipping the attribute in the original Egyptian religious culture that the Hebrews grew up in and came out of. It was not been in the idea of Moses or the10 commandments which we taken from the Egyptian 42 confessions.

And God spoke all these words, saying: 'I am the LORD your God…

1: 'You shall have no other gods [Elohim] before Me.'

2: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.'

3: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.'

4: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.'

5: 'Honor your father and your mother.'

6: 'You shall not murder.'

7: 'You shall not commit adultery.'

8: 'You shall not steal.'

9: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.'

10.'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

This brings the question: Did Egyptians worship animals and the heaven? That I will cover in another essay…soon!

The Culture of Yahweh was re-established and modified in the Hebrew religion and was again manifested in the coming Yah-Shua as the word of Yah, who created the Universe (s) and established time for all those within that creation.

“That which was taught by Horus, or Jesus, the Word in the sayings and parables, was made truth by Horus-Makheru, the fulfiller indeed. And this fulfillment at the second coming is imitated by Jesus when [Page 804] he says, “These things have I spoken unto you in parables (or in proverbial sayings).

“The hour cometh when I shall no more speak unto you in parables but shall tell you plainly of the father” (John XVI. 25).”

Jesus and Horus?

“The teaching of child-Horus did not contain a revelation of the father in spirit. This was the mission of Har-Makheru, the fulfiller of the word in truth, as it was acted in the mysteries to be repeated in the mortal life, for human use. This second part is promised in the Gospels but remained a matter of prophecy that never was fulfilled. Albeit the doctrine survives in the Christian “Word-of-truth” with no foundation in the historical life of Jesus.

The Christian advent of Horus-Makheru, the word-made-truth, the beloved son who represents the father, from beginning to end of the Ritual, still awaits the ending of the world or that last day which was annually solemnized in the Egyptian mysteries. As Paul, the Christian Gnostic puts it, “the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” That is in fulfillment as the word-made-truth (1 Cor. IV. 20).”

The first Horus was the word, the second is the power: the heir of glory who hath the might-divine of the only-begotten Son of God the Father (Rit., ch. 115). This, wherever met with, is Egyptian first of all as Horus, who was the word or logos in one phase of character, and in the other of two he was the power. As the word he represented the virgin mother. As the power he imaged the glory of the father. Horus was the word in the earth of Seb and he is the power in the earth of Sut.

In the canonical and apocryphal Gospels both the word and power have been continued and fused into one, as there was but one life to be represented, that on earth, in the “history.” It is said of the child-Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas (chap. 4),

“Every word of his becometh at once a deed.” “Every word of his is at once a deed” (ch. 17). “Every word he speaketh forthwith becometh a deed” (4).

Hathor and the Law [Maat]

The sum and substance of the doctrine of Maat [the feathered crown] is to make the word of Osiris truth against his enemies. Elder Horus was that word in person. The word was also uttered in dark sayings which constituted the ancient wisdom. Then it became the written word of Taht Aan, the scribe of the gods, and Horus at his second coming was the divine ensample of the son who made the word of Osiris truth against all opposition as the fulfiller of the word and the doer in truth.

Parables are riddles or dark sayings meaning ‘to tie in knots’, twist or involve:

Psa 78:2-3 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, 3 things that we have heard and known, that our ancestors have told us.

Mat 13:34-35 Jesus told the crowds all these things in parables; without a parable he told them nothing. 35 This was to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet: “I will open my mouth to speak in parables; I will proclaim what has been hidden from the foundation of the world.”

John 16:25 “I have said these things to you in figures of speech. The hour is coming when I will no longer in proverbs, but will tell you plainly of the Father. 26 On that day you will ask in my name. I do not say to you that I will ask the Father on your behalf; 27 for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came from God. 28 I came from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and am going to the Father.” 29 His disciples said, “Yes, now you are speaking plainly, not in any proverb!”

Riddles in the Mystery Education of Egypt

“Part of their study was the memorization of long lines of text given by the priests and magicians of our Inner Mystery School Circle and the reciting of certain magic formulae, declarations, incantations, spells, litanies and some funerary liturgy. Also the curriculum included certain riddles and mind puzzles of an esoteric nature, bearing a resemblance in form, but not in content, to those commonly used these days as pass times in certain intellectual upper classes.”

The soul of Man:

"The word of the Christ, according to Paul, is identical with the Makheru, or word-made-truth by Horus the fulfiller. He likewise speaks of “the word of the truth of the gospels” (Col. I. 6). The power of his Christ is that of the risen Horus; it is the power of the resurrection to eternal life; and both are the same, because both represented one meaning, namely the ‘soul of man that rose again from death’, and was personalized in Horus or in Iusa [Iesus/Jesus].”

“…priesthood of that city showed great astuteness in making Khonsu, one of the most ancient forms of the Moon-god [the Egyptian name or Yaeh or Yah], to be the son of Amen-Ra [the hidden], and in identifying him with the sons of the great cosmic gods Horus and Ra.

As the Bible says:

'Who is the image of the invisible [hidden] God [Amen], the firstborn [pre-emanate] of every creature, for him and by him were all things created.' Colossians 1: 15-16.

Yahweh has an arm he extend (ed) and it as Yah-Shua. The Biblical Yahweh as the Creator is the Creator of time. He is not constrained or restricted by it time. He gave this understanding to 'The Adam' his creation, and from that the Adam-unit [male and female] passed it on to their children. According to the Torah, designated times, days and seasons are used to proclaim His plan for redemption, fellowship and eternal life.

What is Culture Shock?

“The traumatic effect of disorientation caused by a major change in the milieu experienced by new inhabitants of land or environs and sometimes by their hosts.”

This experience happened each time people who did not have the original instructions people from the original family group strayed from instruction, co-mingled with those who wanted to remain culturally pure and obedient to the original religion.

Example:  The Falasha Hebrews form Ethiopia did not adhere to the Talmud and remained strict a keepers of the Tanach.  When they returned to the land of their original nativity, Israel , the dominate group the Ashkenazi who adhered to the Talmud said they needed to be go through a process that would make them acceptable to the community.   Now, there’s culture shock, but the Falasha, for the most part has refused the hateful indoctrination and have paid for it in poverty.

Egypt in her hey-day was a dominate society - the Hebrews learned under her shadow and each time a major event took place she was the city of refuge. Her culture influenced Abraham and his sons, Joseph and Moses.

Egypt was home base for all Israel :

Abraham: Gen. 12:10-13

“Now there was a famine in the land, and Abram went down to Egypt to live there for a while because the famine was severe. 11 As he was about to enter Egypt , he said to his wife Sarai, "I know what a beautiful woman you are. 12 When the Egyptians see you, they will say, 'This is his wife.' Then they will kill me but will let you live. 13 Say you are my sister, so that I will be treated well for your sake and my life will be spared because of you."

Isaac the only exception:

Gen. 26:1. And when a famine came in the land, after that barrenness which had happened in the days of Abraham, Isaac went to Abimelech [Father and King], king of the Palestines, to Gerara.

26:2. And the Lord appeared to him, and said: Go not down into Egypt , but stay in the land that I shall tell thee.

Jacob:

1: And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to Beer-Sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

2: And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

3: And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into Egypt ; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

4: I will go down with thee into Egypt ; and I will also surely bring thee up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

5: And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

6: And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in the land of Canaan , and came into Egypt , Jacob, and all his seed with him:

'To Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau, and to Esau I gave Mount Seir to possess it; but Jacob and his sons went down to Egypt . Joshua 24:4

Sons of Jacob:

These are the names of the sons of Israel who went to Egypt with Jacob, each with his family: 2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah; 3 Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin; 4 Dan and Naphtali; Gad and Asher. 5 The descendants of Jacob numbered seventy [a] in all; Joseph was already in Egypt . Exodus 1:1

Jesus' Sojourn:

Matt. 2:13When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. "Get up," he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt . Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him." So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt , 15where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."

Quote:

“Many anthropologists have become interested in how dominant societies can shape the culture of less powerful societies, a process some researchers call cultural hegemony (domination) Today, many anthropologists openly oppose efforts by dominant world powers, such as the U.S. government and multi-national corporations, to make unique smaller societies adopt Western commercial culture.[2]

One African Hebrew Scholar stated that in each advent of slavery and oppression a new religion was birthed.  Years later, at the decline of the Egyptian civilization in Northern Africa the Greeks became the dominate society and the Romans shortly after.  Their mythology and plagiarism shaped the later BC and early AD centuries of Judaism and its daughter Christianity and moved it from the belief in African culture and religion the belief in the newer cultures and religion of Rome and Europe .

The Culture of Yahweh as it is understood today was a sect of Egyptian African religious system. It was later modified, disguised and then bloomed again as the African Hebrews were overpowered by the Babylonians and then Persians, under Ezra and finally Greece and Rome . With Eurocentric politics, culture and nation building can the adoption of Gentile Judaism which was now called Christianity. The result being the original African culture practiced from hundreds of thousands of years that CULMINATED in Egypt that was understood and performed so beautifully and basic became defiled and unrecognizable without the keys to understand. Now, when we think of royalty we envision Europe . Now, when we think of religion we think of Protestant or Catholic.

European crown with Africa ’s jewels

Now, when we look at Biblical and secular history, we see European dominance and now, the views, mores, customs, traditions, histories and ethnography of that ‘replacement culture’ are applied to what everything we read, study and value.

When we think of a King or Lord we look to Europe and not Africa, we have been trained to see Africa and Africans as wring tribes only and not the family of mankind and the progenitors and initiators of all civilizations and religions.

When we think of a crown or scepter, it is the European type and not the African type.

When we think of a Savior we look to the European and not the African and certainly not within us that mirrors the coming One.

We have been conditioned to skim over the names, locations, genealogies of mankind. We are taught to ignore their significance!

'We's ben' Hoodwinked y'all.'

That's why subsequent translations and versions of the Bible are devoid of their African-ness.  The original scriptures have been destroyed as well as the ‘teachers of righteousness’ and the need for instruction in right living taught by the original African who was/are the people who holds the keys of understand locked away in them[us].

Genealogy

“The descent of a person or family from an ancestor in generation by generation, the record of this decent, a line of development. Who someone is, based upon his family, his human history. “

When you look at the Bible, everybody and everything has a unbroken genealogy, a history that is pointed from the beginning in Genesis to the end in the Revelation.

‘’Here is the History of the Heavens and earth when they were created, on the day when Yah made heaven and earth.” Gen. 2:4

“Here is the genealogy of Adam. On the day that Yah created man he made him in the likeness of Yah, he created them male and female; he blessed them and called them ADAM on the day they were created.” Gen 5:1-2.

Noah and Sons:

“Here is the genealogy of the sons of Noah – Shem, Khem and Yefet; sons were born to them after the flood.” Gen. 10:1

‘Abraham took another wife, whose name was Keturah and her sons were…” Gen 21:1

Here is the history of Isaac, Abraham’s son, Abraham fathers Isaac.” Gen 25:19

“The men 20 yrs and over who are subject to military service were recorded by name, family, clan, starting with the descendents of Reuben, Israel’s first born. Here are totals.” Numbers 1:20.

‘This is the genealogy of Yahshua the Messiah, son of David, son of Abraham.” Matt. 1:1.

But, we were told from ‘Preacher Talk’ that they we were never to discuss the genealogy of anyone...what a lie. So, what does Paul/Shaul say about this reasoning when talking to Timothy?

“As I may have counseled you when I was leaving Macedonia , stay on in Ephesus , so that you may order certain people who are teaching a different doctrine to STOP. Have them stop devoting their attention to MYTH and NEVER-ENDING genealogies; these divert the people to speculating instead of doing Yah’s work, which required trust,” 1Timothy 1:3-4.

This is a good definition of a myth:

"A myth, in its simplest definition, is a story with a meaning attached to it other than it seems to have at first; and the fact that it has such a meaning is generally marked by some of its circumstances being extraordinary, or, in the common use of the word, unnatural."[19]

“A myth can also mean a story that is used to dramatize a principle, doctrine or a central truth or meaning or encoded tenant of knowledge as a vehicle to translate that knowledge throughout ages.”[20]

Let’s get some context on Paul statement by looking at the Old Testament.

'These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found; therefore they, were they, as polluted put from the priesthood.' Ezra 2:62.

So, the folks had to have some family history to know who’s who!

'But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should shoe forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness [concealment/hidden] into his marvelous light.' 1 Peter 2:9.

'Now, therefore, if ye obey my voice [ commandments] indeed and keep my covenant, then you shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people; for all the earth [ and people in it] are mine, And you shall be a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation.' Exodus 19: 5-6 .

You need to know who you are to be in the family. You need to know who you are, to be a Priest. You need to know how to offer the gifts and offerings and sacrifices to the Lord.

You need to know the root of the truth to understand and eat the fruit, then:

1 Thessalonians 5:21: "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.''

"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:15-23.

The Culture of Yahweh was an ancient culture birthed in Egypt not by Hebrews but by Egyptians. Egypt is the root and every other religion in the world is the fruit.
