'The Roots of the Hebrew Feasts'

I know this is a long essay, and it may take you a bit of time to read it thoroughly, but it is worth it.

Hopefully, this essays will put into perspective the celebration, times and seasons of the so-called Israelites or Hebrews in order to shed light on the origin of their solemn assemblies, consecrated feasts and holy-days, to reveal their roots in Astro-Theology by way of Egypt.

The One Creator of all Things has always had a priesthood.  Unfortunately, have been told by ignorant historians, quasi-theologists, and Egyptologists that Africa/Egypt was not the parent or plumb-line for all ancient western civilization [Babylonian, Persian,  Hebraic, Greek, Roman and European] and that all other religious practices grew up without an African foundation.  We were told that all the nations of Africa had no connection to anyone's history, not even their own and for those who are Bible believers, the foundation, culture religion, and Feasts of the Hebrews grew up in a complete vacuum.

"A lie travels around the world before the truth gets its boots on!"

In the realm of what we understand a  modern Judaism, it was always a religious practice ant NOT race of people, because all the original people were black or African. But now it has become a matter of race solely based in a European construct.  Ancient Hebrewism is at the core of Judaism is not unlike the Baptists, Holiness, or Methodists of current day Christianity that morphed from Catholicism.  In order for the modern Judaism to explain their religious beliefs, myths and parables, it is necessary for them to ream the core of African-ness out of the heart of their beliefs, and replace it with another paradigm that centers on Europe and a 6,000 year accounting as their apex. This is also true for Christianity the daughter of European Judaism.

It was necessary to make a historical break with Africa to begin another story. Although, this cultural and religious reaming left a shell, the threads of the original African culture and religion still are woven throughout the new paradigm.  Those dangling threads are the unanswered questions we see when studying our Bibles. The pile only becomes larger with each page and the Mumbo-Jumbo of the new paradigm no longer fit.

During the many captivities endured by the original Hebrews the 'scribes' and priests'  began to fill the void of their culture of with a mixture of myth, fact, Persian and Assyrian religious traditions in n attempt to distance them from their nativity --Egypt/Africa.  This was done as a tactic of divisiveness by the religious leaders of Babylonians, and later Persians. Ezra being the chief proponent of the changes.

It is my belief, after research, the Hebrews were nothing more than black folks that were either kicked out or migrated from Egypt in an attempt to form a new nation under a new Per-aa or Pharaoh. That Per-aa/or Great House was Akhenaten who could have been Biblical Moses of the Hebrews. In the case of migration it could have been any group. The Meru of Kenya have a Moses exodus story that predates any in Christianity. The Meru escaped lead by a Mosaic figure from those they called the Red-people and cross a body of water into the land that is now Kenya.

After the inception of Christianity, which was after the death of the last Apostle, the religion hurdled through Greek and Roman dominance, medieval times of European Jewry; and the Egyptian mystery [knowledge hidden from the profane] threads were further disguised by the Egyptian Mystery knock off system called Kabala. It is important to look at the iconographic and pictographic images used by all religions, especially the new Hebrew religious system to see the Egyptian roots.

Here we see the Hebrew shin/sin which is housed in a circle and then a pyramid, with each of is tips of the Shin/Shen which are the smaller letter Vav or Vaw topped with three circles.  I wonder if we can see Egypt in this Kabaalistic symbolism?

The Shin or Trinity of Unity within the Pyramid of our Ancestors

Both hand signals and all symbols shown are the divine Revelation of the African womb related back to the Egyptian wisdom. The power of the eternal light, and the creative and regenerative power symbolizing the womb of the woman.  The microcosm mirroring the pattern of the macrocosm. The smaller see through the greater and vice versa.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters. And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness." Gen. 1:1-4.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth [enlighten or animates] every man that cometh into the world. John 1:1-9."

That light was life. It was the light that ellipsed the sun, moon, and stars-- it is the light, the energy of the Universe, that resides outside of and in us.

The Egyptian Shen or Shenu.  Remember both languages are consonantal

Meaning: words are written without vowels

Shen/Shin

The Sun Burst

The Shen representation in three ways

A loop of rope that has no beginning and no end, it symbolized eternity. The sun disk is often depicted in the center of it.  The Shen also seems to be a symbol of protection. It is often seen being clutched by deities in bird form, Horus the falcon, Mut the vulture. Hovering over Pharaohs head with their wings outstretched in a gesture of protection. The word shen comes from the word "shenu" which means "encircle," and in its elongated form became the cartouche which surrounded the a name.

In the Kabaalistic symbol that was taken from the Egyptian, the Vav or Wav is in the tip of the three fingers of the shin. Which may symbolize the female line, represented was the vav or vulva holding up the male rule, or being the base of the male rule within the greater encirclement of the sun or life or creator.

This corresponds with the fact that a king can not be a king in African culture without a Queen making him so by birth, initiation or marriage. The story of the Biblical Moses becoming king through marriage to "that Ethiopian."

"However, prior to Moses leaving Egypt, the Jewish historian Josephus points out that he had been a great general who led Pharaoh's army to victory over the kingdom of Ethiopia, which had conquered most of Egypt. While attacking the Ethiopian capital city, Tharbis, the daughter of the king of Ethiopia, became enamoured of Moses, seeing his valiant exploits, and bargained to deliver the city into his hands if he would but marry her. Moses agreed, and she fulfilled her promise -- and Moses married her, and fulfilled the obligation of a husband to her, causing her to become pregnant (Josephus, Antiquities, II, x). This occurred sometime before 1532 B.C., when Moses was driven out of Egypt for slaying an Egyptian (Exodus 2: 11-150. The vitally important royal city where this conflict culminated was "Saba." Josephus relates:

So this shin above represents the Kabaalistic version of the African Mystery, which is the fame of divine revelation is ensconced in the sun and then in the Pyro-mid with the tips of the shin or Vav are representing the vulva or womb of the African mother with the 3 stars on Orion's belt or the trinity that originated in Egypt with Osiris, Isis and Horus or Ausar,Auset and Heru.

A picture speaks 1000 words and it says:  It's a Black Thang! You can take a man out of the country, but you can take the country out of the man!

Let's read it :

Kabala: "An esoteric theosophy of rabbinical origin based on the Hebrew scriptures and developed between the 7th and 18th centuries.  It refers to the mystical interpretation of the Jewish Scriptures. It has two principal written sources.  The first is Sefer Yezira a third century work which purports to present a series of monologues given by the patriarch Abraham.

The second, Zohar is a mystical commentary on the Torah written by Moses de León in the 13th century. As a religious movement, it appears to have started in 11th century France, and then spread to Spain and elsewhere. The Hebrew word "Kabbalah" means in its literal sense "to receive" and this refers to the communication between God and Moses. It influenced the development of Hasidism in the 18th century, and continues to play a role in contemporary Judaism."

But where did it come from?

The Jewish historian Fabre d'Olivet says that it came from Ancient Egypt. According to this writer, the roots of the Kabbalah stretch back to that time.  The Kabbalah is a tradition learned by some of the leaders of the Israelites in Ancient Egypt, and passed down as a tradition by word of mouth from generation to generation - Fabre d'Olivet, La Langue Hébraïque, 1815, p.28.

Hum...by some of the leaders? Which ones? How did they find out?

They could only learn this in the University/Mystery systems of the Priesthood.  WOW!  I thought SLAVES were uneducated. I though SLAVES were not privy to the Myteries and only royalty and children of high esteem could partake in that education.  There is a hole in the story someone is trying to cover up.

I smell stinky do-do!

When the essence or the truth is removed from the cell structure of African civilization, then another substance has been used to replace it keeps its same visual shape although the modern understanding has changed.  In essence they have tried to change a heart cell into a liver cell while making us believe it is still a heart cell.  But now history is having a heart attack!  The subsequent reproduction of the counterfeit is; a cell that looks like the others is in actuality duping the others by having the same threads of the original DNA. We need only look at the past shapes it resembles to see what is was meant to be.

As the social debate on the authenticity of the racial and cultural claims of medieval and modern European Jews still rage in European circles, we the knowing Africans of the Diaspora, must tell the whole truth.  The truth must be proclaimed from the proven evidence that Africans were the original Egyptian priests and progenitors of all culture, science, and religion throughout the whole earth. Not a primitive form as they are now saying but a developed, complicated highly intelligent form.  This is attested to by ancient and modern scholars to numerous to mention here.

"Every time you kick over a rock in Africa, history has to be changed!"

Every thinking person, armed with this crucial understanding, must begin to see their education in a different light.  The True Light that reflects in the African genetic pool.

"That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world."

John 1:9

Sun God of the Kabalistic Hebrews

The Sun walking on water

The original Israelites, estranged sons, and daughters of the original African Hebrews, were/are one of the children of the Black Egyptian who, after many years were washed out, brainwashed, and forgot their parentage, through migration, subjugation, manipulation, wars, occupation, and intermarriage.  That still did not make them white or European.  For the masses from Eastern Europe:

It was 1100 years ago a mass conversion of Europeans to Judaism of the Caucasians [see Koestler's 13th Tribes] that adopted the history and culture of the original Hebrews. In their quest for the root they did not have, they co-opted and preserved a shadow of the Egyptian and Canaanite religion and culture the Hebrews possessed, which manifested in the feasts, commandments, and all other rites and rituals.

This is nothing new.  We Africans living in the Diaspora have forgotten our traditions and co-opted a Euro-centric view of our own culture and religion they force fed us disguised as slave Christianity.  We celebrate a Europeanized 'White Christmas' filled with the trapping of a holiday that was originally celebrated [albeit differently] in Egypt/Africa, but, now we hail the winter's mistletoe, Yule logs, evergreen trees, eggnog, mulled apple cider, and Ole' St. Nick. We have gotten into chestnut roasting on a open fire and Jack Frost nipping at our nose [even though Nat King Cole rendition of the song is the bomb] Africa does not have that kind of winter. Africa is a tropical land. Filled with watermelons, yams, eggplant, dates, olive oil and palm trees.

We have followed traditions religiously, not knowing where they came from. We are happy to make up new traditions, like Kwanzaa, as an alternative for our broken African religious and cultural systems. Don't get me wrong. I understand and applaud the need for Kwanzaa and appreciate the effort of Mr. Karenga, but let us understand the root of it and not just the leaves.  We still do not understand that we are the authors of all worldwide religion and culture.   Priests of the University System travelled all over the world sharing the Gospel of Truth. When our heinous enslavement came, first by the Arabs, then the Europeans as we were transported all over the world during Maafa, each enslaver touting their own brand of religious enslavement and we blind fools ague over it each day by way of Islam or Christianity being the root of our salvation. But, just as we knew to hide yams from our enslavers, and put kernels of rice in our hair so we could plant and harvest the crops from the motherland to continue to celebrate the bounty of our Creator in thanksgiving and praise, we did so even in our despair.

The majority of ignorant Africans in the Diaspora laugh at the manufactured stereotypes of our brothers and sisters in Africa.  We suck our teeth when someone mentions moving back to our homeland. We have done what the original black Hebrews have done, forgotten our parents and hated the mention of their name.

The saddest of truth in the quest to become a lie.

Kwanzaa

That may have been reason that Maulana [Ron] Karnaga instituted the festival season of Kwanzaa. He and others wanted something for us to hold on to, something to unite us in purpose.  All he need do was to looked to real African history.   If he had, he would have found our harvest festivals and messianic first-fruits celebration in honor of the Creator of the Universe have gone back for 20 thousand years.

I can not fault him, but we as a people must go further and teach the whole truth. Kwanzaa must transform and take its next logical step in pointing the way to the greater truth. As a Marxist Ron Karenga dismisses the notion of  a God, although Marx was a Ashkenazi Jew.  We must reclaim our entire heritage and Africans have always understood our connection to the Creator, otherwise everything we do would be just another hollow ritual without life and more importantly, without History and a future.

Seven Feasts on Menorah

The Romanish Menorah -7 candlesticks

In actuality the Biblical menorah was not candles but bowls or cups:

"You shall also make a lampstand of pure gold; the lampstand shall be of hammered work.. Its shafts, its branches, its bowls, its ornamental knobs, and flowers shall be of one piece. And six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side. Three bowls shall be made like almond blossoms on one branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower, and three bowls made like almond blossoms on the other branch, with an ornamental knob and a flower -- and so for the six branches that come out of the lampstand. On the lampstand itself four bowls shall be made like almond blossoms, each with its ornamental knob and flower. And there shall be a knob under the first two branches of the same, a knob under the second two branches of the same, and a knob under the third two branches of the same, according to the six branches that extend from the lampstand. Their knobs and their branches shall be of one piece; all of it shall be of one hammered piece of pure gold. "You shall make seven lamps for it, and they shall arrange its lamps so that they give light in front of it.And its wick-trimmers and their trays shall be of pure gold. It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these utensils. And see to it that you make them according to the pattern which was shown you on the mountain" (Exodus 25:31-40, NKJV)

The Kwanzaa Kinara and the Romanesque Menorah above represent  seven stars. In Jewish rabbi's have added 2 more feast to the original 7 celebrated by the original Hebrews.

The Seven stars and Orion:

"Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?" -- Job 38:31

"Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name. -- Amos 5:8

Seven Stars of Orion with center in Gihzeh

The seven stars represented the goddess/neteru Neith or the Divine Mother [Isis/Auset] to the ancient Egyptians. In her early form, as a goddess of war, she was said to make warriors' weapons, and guard their bodies when they died. A great festival, called the Feast of Lamps [Lights], was held annually on/around January 19th in her honor, and according to Herodotus, her devotees burned a multitude of lights in the open air all night during the celebration. There was also a feast of Neith on/around Dec. 26th. In Egypt she was [connected] Isis/Auset and Hathor.  These two were possibly the same in antiquity.  Dec. 26th is Celebrated by the Eastern Orthodox  Church as the birth of Christ or Christos, the Hebrew Channuka, the festival of lights.

The concepts have shifted from Egypt to Israel to Rome, but the light represented by the Menorah were initially a reference to the celestial [stars].  To read more about that there is an essay I have written regarding the change from the Egyptian to Roman Vessel of light. [Menorah]

The Real African Feasts

We must remember that the modern Jewish feast has its walls erected in Eastern Europe but, they ignore the root in Africa.  So hold on to your Yarmulke and throw those knishes, gefilta fish, matza balls and potato latkes away.  There will be goat, fufu, couscous, joluf rice, ingera, casaba, kitfo and yams in the Feast from now on!

This is a case of the strongman [European] entering our home and taking the heritage of the African and changing it to fit their heritage in order to place them at the foundation AND apex of history.

The truth will make us free.

How did the Feasts of the Hebrews come to be?

The according to the Bible, the Lord put lights in the sky as a calendar. In this calendar mankind saw a connection with the universe and himself. The Feast days were a outgrowth of worship in a Theocratic society with God being the head and man being his voice on earth. The Feast were establish for fellowship, thanksgiving and bonding with the Creator, his creation and the family of God. The parents of the original Hebrews were the Egyptians, had long established Feasts days in celebration to seasons of abundance. To do all this you needed a calendar.

'Let the lights appear in the sky to separate day form night and show the time when days, years, and religious festivals begin.' Gen. 1:14

Egypt or Kemet was not out of the loop when this edict came forth. The Bible is speaking of the synopsized report.  Egypt had the original thesis.

Nut [Sky] Geb [Earth] the Neteru

Nut [Shamayim] Geb[Adamah] with his penis [seed] pointing at her NAVEL.

Nut was the Egyptian name for the Sky and Geb the name for the Earth. Gebs' phallus is pointed toward Nut's NAVEL and not her vagina as some assume. This is not sexual iconography. This is noting the Nut is the mother of the sky - overshadowing Geb and not having  intercourse with her.  It is giving a picture of creation. The navel was the important thing it proved our divinity and humanity!

To the ancient Egyptians Nut (Nuit) was the personification of the sky [originally she was an attribute of  the sky at day, where the clouds formed] and the heavens.'

Nut the Egyptian word for Sky is the Hebrew word for Shamayim.  How does that relate?

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”Genesis 1:26

The Hebrew word for air is: Shamayim, aka Heaven. Shamayim (shaw-mah'-yim): dual of an unused singular shameh {shaw-meh'}; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve):--air, X astrologer, heaven(-s)." - Strong's Hebrew Dictionary.

The word itself literally means: Sha ("of" or "from") the waters (mayim). Heaven means literally: "From the Waters"!  Houses of the star, sun and moon.

Hebrew version:

"And God called the firmament (raqiyah) Heaven (Shamayim)."

Egyptian version:

'And God called the firmament Nut.'

In Nut [the sky/heavens] dwelt the sun, moon and stars and these bodies became a way to develop a calendar in order to have seedtime and harvest.

While the earth remains seedtime and harvest, seedtime and harvest ...shall not cease." (Genesis 8:22)

How did the Egyptians develop and accurate Calendar to perform the Feasts?

'To develop a calendar, you need a regular event that is predictable. And what was more regular and important to the ancient Egyptians than the rise and fall of the River Nile?

The waters started rising around the end of June, and the flood period (achet) lasted until October, covering the land with rich black mud and preparing it for the sowing and growing period (peret). The harvest time (schemu) started at the end of February and ended with the new Nile flood This predictable, ongoing cycle defined the agricultural year. This became fraught with problems since the flood came within a range of 80 days with variable intensities.

Eventually, Sirius, or Sothis as it was called by the ancient Egyptians, the star who's heliacal rising was in early July 3000 years ago [but due to the wobble of the earth on its axis is now a few weeks later] turned out to be a very reliable predictor of the recurring flood and defined the exact length of the trip of the earth around the sun .

The discovery and plotting of the stars like Sirius or Sothis and Orion was very important.

Velikovsky, on the authority of Pliny identifies the star of Isis as the planet Venus and explains that both Venus and Sirius had a role in the Egyptian calendar, the real purpose of the Decree being to make the calendar independent of Venus. Egyptologists generally consider both “star of Isis” and “Sothis” to refer to Sirius.

Immanuel Velikovsky [1895-1979] Earlier in his life, he played a role in the founding of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and was a respected author, psychiatrist/psychoanalist.

His books primarily used comparative mythology and ancient literary sources (not least the Bible) to propose that the Earth had suffered catastrophic close-contacts with other planets in the solar system (principally Venus and Mars), during and before recorded history. He argued that electromagnetic effects played an important role in celestial mechanics. He also proposed a  revised chronology  of Ancient Egypt, Greece and the Land of Israel and the Near East,  aiming to eliminate Dark Ages and reconcile Biblical history with both archeology and Egyptian Chronology.

Sirius was the star that began the accurate calendar for the Egyptian.  Naming Sirius after Isis is not idolatry. I would expect that they would not name it anything other than the name of the child of a neteru like Isis. Neteroo was misinterpreted god and goddess by the European translators, but they were just the ancient names for earth, sun, sky, air etc and how they formed the universe. So when you see Geb, Nut and the rest don't panic.

Sirius has been identified by some as the Biblical star Mazzaroth (the Book of Job, 38:32). The Semitic name for Sirius was Hasil, while the Hebrews also used the name Sihor.  The latter an Egyptian name, learned by the Hebrews prior to their Exodus.  But ancient Egypt provides the most regal history for Sirius.  Initially, it was Hathor, the ancient great mother goddess, who was identified with Sirius.  But Isis soon became the major archetype, sharing honors with the title of Sirius as the Nile Star.

Remember, the times the Festivals are celebrate by vary depending on what area of the world you are in. just like Florida has a different type of winter that Minnesota so the variation in worship around the world. So in African [ including Palestine] the Festivals were at the same time as the Harvest months.

As Above, So Below

The calendar system of ancient Egypt is unique to both the cosmology of the Egyptians and their religion. Unlike the modern Julian calendar system, with it's 365 days to a year, the Egyptians followed a calendar system of 360 days, with three seasons, each made up of 4 months, with thirty days in each month.

The first new moon following the reappearance of Sirius [the dog star] after it disappeared under the horizon for 70 days was established as the first day of the New Year (Egypt: wepet senet) and of the achet (flood) period--even if the Nile had not yet started to rise.

The priests also observed there were four moon periods that fit into each of the three seasons , but it did not fit. The lunar month has 29 ½ days, resulting in "short" or "long" years of 12 or 13 new moons.

The appearance of Sirius and the next New Year put the calendar back to baseline.  Later they developed a ' leap year' to put the calendar back on schedule with the Sun Moon and Stars.

The Egyptian calendar clearly took into account the lunar cycles, as it, according to Herodotus, "consisted] of twelve divisions of the seasons." and they used forms of intercalculatis to keep the lunar calendar seasonally consistent. "the Egyptians, reckoning thirty days to each of the twelve months, add five days in every year over and above the total, and thus the completed circle of seasons is made to agree with the calendar."

They eventually had a system of 36 stars to mark out the year and in the end had three different calendars working concurrently for over 2000 years: a stellar calendar for agriculture, a solar year of 365 days (12 months x 30 + 5 extra) and a quasi-lunar calendar for festivals. The later Egyptian calendars developed sophisticated Zodiac systems, as in the stone calendar at right.

According to the famed Egyptologist J. H. Breasted, the earliest date known in the Egyptian calendar corresponds to 4236 B.C.E. in terms of the Gregorian calendar.

The seasons of the Egyptians corresponding with the cycles of the Nile, and were known as:

1. Inundation (pronounced akhet which lasted from June 21st to October 21st).

2. Emergence (pronounced proyet which lasted from October 21st to February 21st).

3. Summer (pronounced shomu which lasted from February 21st to June 21st).

Sirius: the 'Dog Star

Sirius the Dog Star in the configuration of the Star of David

The earliest Egyptian calendar was based on the moon's cycles, but the lunar calendar failed to predict a critical event in their lives: the annual flooding of the Nile river. The Egyptians soon noticed that the first day the "Dog Star," which we call Sirius, in Canis Major was visible right before sunrise was special.

The Egyptians were probably the first to adopt a mainly solar calendar. This so-called 'heliacal rising' always preceded the flood by a few days. Based on this knowledge, they devised a 365-day calendar that seems to have begun in 4236 B.C.E., the earliest recorded year in history.

Early Egyptians depended on the Nile's annual rising and flooding. Each year as that great river flooded it brought down mountain soil to the Egyptian plain. This enriched the fields and enabled creation of an agricultural system that supported a large civilization.

In the eighth century B.C.E., the Egyptian Pharaoh's primary advisor, the Vizier, was charged with reporting the first appearance of the bright star we call Sirius after it had been missing from the sky for (depending upon the observer's latitude) approximately two weeks.

This first appearance of Sirius in the pre-dawn sky was used to start the Egyptian calendar year, which was used for purposes of regulating religious affairs and everyday life.

Shortly after Sirius first reappeared in the east, the Nile would have its annual life-giving flood [same as a woman's menstruation]. Because of the Nile's flooding at this time, the fixing of the new year could well be said to have been based on a geophysical as well as an astronomical event. Although many other stars may be used to fix the beginning of a sidereal year, the Egyptians.

'Frequently, inscribed on the walls of such temples are detailed lists of feasts, all presented in a systematic manner. Such festival calendars were also copied and kept in the scrolls of the temple archives. From these, we can often determine whether a feast took place within the civil calendar or according to the moon.'

'Most of the festivals that we know of from ancient Egypt are cultic [see definition below], rather than civil. There were probably plenty of civil celebrations, but our sources are mostly religious.

Egyptian New Year's Day (Wep-renpet)

The first celebration of the year was, the New Year's festival. For the ancient Egyptians, this was not only the first day of the year, but also the time when rejuvenation and rebirth ideally took place.

Theban citizens and their guests from afar celebrated the fruitful link between their pharaoh and the almighty god, Amun/Amen, who in the New Kingdom became a state god. During the celebration it was thought that the might and power of Amun were ritually bequeathed to his living son, the king. Therefore, the celebration belonged to the official royal ideology of the state and, not surprisingly, witnessed the personal involvement of the pharaoh.

Because of the flooding, work was temporarily suspended in fields. The people joined in a dramatic procession honoring Amun that began at the temple of Amun in Karnak and ended at Luxor temple one and a half miles away at the south end of the city.

At Karnak the people watched the high priests disappear in the temple. Inside, the priests bathed the image of the god and dressed him in colorful linen and adorned him with jewelry from the temple treasury including magnificent necklaces, bracelets, scepters, amulets and trinkets of gold or silver encrusted with lapis lazuli, enamel, glass and semi-precious gems. The priests then enclosed the god in a shrine and then placed the shrine on top of a ceremonial barque or boat [Ark], often supported by poles for carrying.

In Graeco-Roman times, this festival was known as the Lychnapsia, or Festival of Lights [Hannauka and Christmas] and the Festival of Neith. It is found in the Latin Calendar of Philocalus, dated from the fourth century C.E. This calendar gives the date of the observance as August 12, according to the Roman calendar

The festival began the night before, at the rising of the moon. Aset's search for Wesir-Isis search for Osiris], as told by Plutarch, was reenacted during this festival, by people bearing torches, lamps, and candles, to light their way. Houses, temples, and boats were also illuminated, everything ablaze with light.

It is also to be noted that this festival has also been connected to the birthday of Aset/Isis and Neith

Parallel in Italian Catholicism

An interesting corollary to this festival is one that takes place in Italy, called the Ave Maria festival. Ave Maria is Latin for Hail Mary, the first two words of a Roman Catholic prayer to the Blessed Mary, mother of Jesus, and called by Catholics the Mother of God. Many scholars believe that Mary's worship evolved out of the devotion to Aset/Isis throughout the Roman Empire period and later into the Christian era.

A description of this Ave Maria festival can be found at Ave Maria Italy. Note the use of boats and candles in this festival as was  Festival of Neith.

So, you caught it huh?

Remember Catholicism adopted [and erroneously taught] the shadow ways of the Egyptian Religious System and CHRISTIANITY is the daughter of Catholicism [yes you are!].  Just as Judaism is the daughter of the Egyptian Mystery System BUT, not by the way of ROME, b by the way of Persia and Babylon.  You, don't believe it?  Keep reading and you will know  like Donny Hathaway said: Everything is Everything

Iyov (Job) 38:31-33 "Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orion? Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons or lead out the Bear with its cubs? Do you know the laws of the heavens? Can you set up [God's] dominion over the earth? The original 7 branch menorah was said to have been based upon the Pleiades.

In pre-patriarchal Jerusalem, the Menorah (the 7 branched candlestick) originally symbolized the Pleiades in their aspect of the sevenfold "Men-horac"/"Moon Priestesses, with links once again to the Goddess Hathor" which returns us once again to 7 ladies and the Pleiades.

Hathor: Her name may have meant 'House of Horus', she was called was the Great Mother - The Queen of Heaven - The House or the Womb.

Hathor: Was worshipped in Israel in 1100BC at her own holy city of Hazor.  She was also identified by the name Lady of Byblos [Bible].  She was the patron of all Holy Midwives[ See Moses: Shifrah and Puah] associated with the 7 heavenly spheres. She was also Mother Goose in medieval fairytales.

CONSTELLATION: For untold thousands of years men have traced the outlines of familiar things among the stars. These patterns in the night sky are called constellations, from Latin words meaning together and stars.

'And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years, And let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth." And it was so. God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth, To govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the fourth day.'  Bereshit (Genesis) 1:14-19.

What is the breakdown of this scripture?

I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth.  Num 24:17

What did the Magi or Babylon have a history of this to?

The appearance of a new bright star in the head of Coma would have spoken loudly to the Magi. They had probably been growing in anticipation of further signs to be given since its appearance in about 125 BC.

About this constellation, an Arabian astronomer named Albumazar (eighth century AD) is quoted as saying; "There arises in the first Decan (which means: "part," or, "associated constellation" and also a order of Priest from where we derive the name Deacons] as the Persians, Chaldeans, and Egyptians, and the two Hermes and Ascalius teach, a young woman, whose Persian name denotes a pure virgin, sitting on a throne, nourishing an infant boy, having a Hebrew name, by some nations called IHESU, with the signification IEZA, which in Greek is called Christos.

VIRGO is represented as a woman with a branch in her right hand, and some ears of corn in her left hand. Thus giving a two-fold testimony of the Coming One.

The name of this sign in the Hebrew is Bethulah, which means a virgin, and in the Arabic a branch. The two words are connected, as in Latin--Virgo, which means a virgin; and virga, which means a branch (Vulg. Isa 11:1). Another name is Sunbul, Arabic, an ear of corn.

" The boy in the virgin's lap is widely recognized as symbolic of Christos - the anointed, the Messiah

Originally, the Feast as told in the Torah were 7 main ones in number [Leviticus 23]. But Chanukah and Purim were added later. Nevertheless their correspondence with Egyptian Feast are also remarkable.

'Hanukkah, or the Feast of Lights, is an 8-day celebration which begins in late November or December. It falls on different dates each year as do other Jewish holidays because they run according to the Jewish calendar, which is more than 5750 years old. Although not a holiday from the Torah (therefore not having any Biblical requirements), Hanukkah has been differentiated from regular days of the week by special actions and special foods.'  Excerpt: http://www.umkc.edu/imc/hanukkah.htm.

Purim in honor of Queen Esther [Hadassah or  Myrtle] is the only book in the Old Testament that does not mention the name of Yahweh.

Egypt the City of Refuge

Egypt was the place where the patriarchs of Israel would always run to in times of trouble. That was true for Abraham, Isaac, Joseph and Jacob [Israel] and even Jesus and his parents.

Abram brought Sarai into Egypt and he was taken for a time as a concubine or the unnamed Pharaoh.

The same story is told about Isaac and Rebecca.

Then Joseph the son of Israel [Jacob] and Rachel is transported to Egypt when he was kidnapped and sold into slavery by his brothers.

Who did he become in Egypt?

' Now you should choose a man with wisdom and insight and put him in charge of the country...the King and his officials approved this plan, and he said to them, ' We will never find a better man than Joseph, a man who has God's spirit in him.  the king said to Joseph, ' God has shown you all of this, so it is obvious that you have greater wisdom and insight than anyone else... I put you in charge of my country, and all my people will obey your orders. Now I will appoint you governor [vizier] over all Egypt. Gen. 41:25-42

'So now [it was] not you [that] sent me hither, but God: and he hath made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house, and a ruler throughout all the land of Egypt.' Gen. 45:8

Why was this position important?

In the eighth century B.C.E., the Egyptian Pharaoh's primary advisor, the Vizier, was charged with reporting the first appearance of the bright star we call Sirius after it had been missing from the sky for (depending upon the observer's latitude) approximately two weeks. The term vizier was employed later in the Arabic-Islamic era.

Here is what Arab-Egyptian Ahmed Osman proposes:

'When Joseph revealed his identity to his kinsmen who had sold him into slavery, he told them that God had made him "a father to Pharaoh." Throughout the long history of ancient Egypt, only one man is known to have been given the title "a father to Pharaoh"-Yuya, a vizier of the 18th dynasty king Tuthmosis IV. Yuya has long intrigued Egyptologists because he was buried in the Valley of Kings even though he was not a member of the Royal House.'

The Vizier or Prime Minister was the main person that was over the Egyptian seed-time harvest was at the forefront of the priesthood they were also the Almanac observers for Egypt.

Prime Minister or Vizier-was second to the pharaoh in the Egyptian government. He was the prime minister, the head priest, and the supreme judge.

'In the eighth century B.C.E., the Egyptian Pharaoh's primary advisor, the Vizier, was charged with reporting the first appearance of the bright star we call Sirius after it had been missing from the sky for (depending upon the observer's latitude) approximately two weeks.'

Did you see the another thing about the Vizier needing to understand Astronomy/Astrology?  Well who was said to be the Vizier of Pharaoh? Joseph the son of Jacob [ Israel]. Said to be ' A Father to Pharaoh' which is the Title of the vizier Yuya according to Ahmed Osman.

' I will put you in charge of my country, and all my people will obey you orders. Your authority will be only second to mine. I now appoint you governor over all Egypt. The King removed from his finger the engraved ring with the royal seal and put it on Joseph's finger.'  Gen 42:40-42

The Prime Minister was an Astronomist and Astrologist. Why was Astronomy and Astrology needed in agriculture and celebrating the Feasts? The Feast and agriculture was inextricably linked to the planets. That along with the realization that the female and male were also mirrors of the greater universe.

'Mary, Mary quite contrary...how does your garden grow?'

The Farmers Almanac is based in these astrological concepts. The same almanac your great-grandparents used to find out when to plant their collard greens and sweet peas. The almanac that Benjamin Franklin co-opted in making his 'Poor Richards Almanac' he method ancient Egyptian/Africans had employed for eons. The Almanac plotted the planets and stars to find out when to plant. Remember, they did not come to Africa and capture a bunch of people that were just used for manual labor.  They wanted to build a nation!  They needed people who understood the concept of planting and harvesting or they would starve. The needed nation builders...and we were it.

Christian people who planted by the signs in the sky and the almanac did not think it was pagan. They continued to farm using this 'tried and true' method just like their parents before them. They had a guarantee, based on a lifetime's experience in the fields, that if they planting by the signs they would reap in due season if they fainted not.'  In following the directives that God has given us to wait upon Him in every matter  they reaped a mighty harvest.

If you tell these people that this is a practice of witchcraft, you'll horrify them (or make them burst out laughing). After all, God made the signs in the heavens, and the Bible says He put them there to tell us the appropriate times to do things on earth.

When a farmer waits for the next waxing of the moon right before fullness after the Worm moon has passed, he's not making any revelatory predictions as he prepares to plant his crop. He is not adding to Scripture. But, he is using the Signs in the Heavens.

In our time we use the Old Farmers Almanac.

Excerpt from the Almanac

'WE DERIVE OUR weather forecasts from a secret formula that was devised by the founder of this Almanac, Robert B. Thomas, in 1792. Thomas believed that weather on Earth was influenced by sunspots, which are magnetic storms on the surface of the Sun.

We employ three scientific disciplines to make our long-range predictions: solar science, the study of sunspots and other solar activity; climatology, the study of prevailing weather patterns; and meteorology, the study of the atmosphere. We predict weather trends and events by comparing solar patterns and historical weather conditions with current solar activity,"

Who was Benjamin Banneker? The African who wrote the another almanac that was widely used in the time of Thomas Jefferson. Look what else he did

Benjamin Banneker

Benjamin Banneker[ African] had worked on his Almanac for several years and publish his in 1795. He forwarded it to Thomas Jefferson. Banneker was also one of the surveyors and architects of the capital city of Washington.

'French artist-architect Major Pierre Charles L'Enfant took his plans for D.C. with him to France, but renowned mathematician, astronomer and publisher Benjamin Bannered, who was assisting commissioner Andrew Ellicott in the survey of the site, saved the project by reproducing the plans in their entirety from memory, according to The African American Almanac.

Astrological layout of D.C.

"In two days after the architect was fired...[Banneker reproduced] a complete layout of the streets, parks and major buildings," according to a Massachusetts Institute of Technology Web site that highlights an inventor each week. "Thus Washington, D.C., itself can be considered a monument to the genius of this great man [Banneker]."  Washington DC was designed astronomically aligned to the pyramids in Giza, Egypt.

What does this all mean?

This is another example of Africans understanding the stars, sun, moon and their effect on life, and as a sign from the Creator and of the nativity of mankind in the mother land of Africa.

From this understanding the men and women of Africa adhered to a set of  'Feasts' as markers and a code to seed-time harvest and worship was to be handed down correctly to their children as communication with Creator of the universes.

Celebrations

Let's look at the 7orignal Hebrew feast briefly.

They have three first-fruits presentations?  Lets, linger on Sukkoth for awhile because it relates to the Messiah.

During Sukkoth branches cut from palm, willow and other trees were to be waved in celebration to the Lord during the first seven days of the feast. (Lev 23:40).Considered by Jewish custom to be the final day of judgment. A ritual of beating willow branches on the ground is practiced, which is thought to symbolize the casting away of sin.

Now, remember the willow reference please we will tie it in later.

Note: This ritual differed in the New Testament account, when YahShua rode in on a donkey and the people shouted Hosanna, Hosanna. It was attributed to the time of Passover, but this response from the people usually came on Sukkoth.  Some have noted the error, others over look it, and still others feel it was supernaturally inspired on Passover.  My question is, wouldn't it be odd if the whole of Jerusalem would yell Hosanna when it was not the correct time? Did the didactors and revisionist get it mixed up?  There are two first-fruits one in the Spring and one in the Fall.

Occams Razor: This rule is interpreted to mean that the simplest of two or more competing theories is preferable and that an explanation for unknown phenomena should first be attempted in terms of what is already known.

When the people called out Hossana it was in the Fall - celebrating the Fall Feats of Tabernacles [Day of the Willows] the time of the first fruits of the harvest.  To yell out Hosanna [Save us now] at any other time would be like Christmas in July.

"Blessed art thou O Lord our God, Ruler of the universe, who has sanctified us with His mitzvot , and instructed us to sit in the Sukkah."

(Sukkot - Tabernacles( or Booths )is found in  Deuteronomy 16 starting at v13,  Celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress. Deut. 16:13

The Feast of Tabernacles or Day of the Willows:

'As usual, we are met at the outset by a controversy between the Pharisees and the Sadducees. The law had it (Lev 23:40): 'Ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook,' which the Sadducees understood (as do the modern Karaite Jews) to refer to the materials whence the booths were to be constructed, while the Pharisees applied it to what the worshippers were to carry in their hands.

As soon as the wine and the water were being poured out, the Temple music began, and the 'Hallel' (Psa 113-118) was sung in the manner previously prescribed, and to the accompaniment of flutes, except on the Sabbath and on the first day of the feast, when flute-playing was not allowed, on account of the sanctity of the days. When the choir came to these words (Psa 118:1), 'O give thanks to the Lord,' and again when they sang (Psa 118:25), 'O work then now salvation, Jehovah'; and once more at the close (Psa 118:29), 'O give thanks unto the Lord,' all the worshippers shook their lulavs towards the altar.'

The Festival of Booths -

The time for the Feast of Booth[ Tabernacles/Shelters] was near...You go on to the Festival, because I am not going you to the festival, because the right time has not come for me.  John 7:2

'It was the last day, that great day of the feast.' It obtained this name, although it was not one of 'holy convocation,' partly because it closed the feast, and partly from the circumstances which procured it in Rabbinical writings the designations of 'Day of the Great Hosanna,' on account of the sevenfold circuit of the altar with 'Hosanna'; and 'Day of Willows,' and 'Day of Beating the Branches,' because all the leaves were shaken off the willow boughs, and the palm branches beaten in pieces by the side of the altar.

What does this have to do with anything? Well you see that there are 2 feast of First Fruits right? the latter Holiday is called the Day of the Willows because the booths in the wilderness was made out of willows and palms and goodly trees and also the Lulav shaker was made from this also. But, there is an Egyptian explanation to the Feast of Booths and the day of the Willows and it is attributed to Dionysus who was the Greek equivalent to Osiris. Since the Greeks stole almost everything from the Egyptians you can bet that the Festival of Booths was an original Egyptian concept.

'Water and Willows represent the Goddess Helice [Heli meaning Sun]. The Dionysian thyrsus was a willow. As Dionysus was one a major God in Jerusalem, the willow figured prominently in municipal ceremonies.  A Great Day' of the Feast of Tabernacles was known as the Day of the Willows, the rites honoring water and fire. Dionysus was the Greek form of Osiris the husband of Isis.'

Remember, the man carrying water?  Some scholars try to say that this was a slave carrying water for a master.  But the water duty was always a woman's job - unless it had another meaning. I think by the translators and revisionists saying this person the disciples were to mean was just a man was a clue. I believe this was a ceremony of the priest class.  He may have been of the priesthood.

'On the first day of the Festival of unleavened Bread, the day the lambs were killed...Jesus' disciples asked him.  Where do you want to eat the Passover meal? ' Then Jesus sent two of them with these instructions: 'Go into the City, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house he enters, and say to the owner of the house :'The Teacher says, where is the room where my disciples will eat the Passover meal?' Mark 14:12-14

Ritual for the Day of the Willows or Feast of Tabernacles

"It was on that day, after the priest had returned from Siloam with his golden pitcher, and for the last time poured its contents to the base of the altar; after the 'Hallel' had been sung to the sound of the flute, the people responding and worshipping as the priests three times drew the threefold blasts from their silver trumpets— when the interest of the people had been raised to its highest pitch, that, from amidst the mass of worshippers, who were waving towards the altar quite a forest of leafy branches as the last words of Psalm 118 were chanted— voice was raised which resounded through the temple, startled the multitude, and carried fear and hatred to the hearts of their leaders.

During Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) a priest would draw water in a golden pitcher from the pool of Siloam and pour it onto the altar. Another priest met him, bearing a golden pitcher of wine for the "drink offering," also prescribed in the Torah. (Leviticus 23:13)  Together they mounted the ramp to the altar of burnt offering. Simultaneously, they poured the water and the wine down the silver funnels, emptying at the base of the altar.

When Jesus told the disciples about the man with the pitcher [golden] he meant the priest.

It was Jesus, who 'stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink.' Then by faith in Him should each one truly become like the Pool of Siloam, and from his inmost being 'rivers of living waters flow...'John 7:38.

This was the process of Sukkoth and the Last Great Day/Eight day.

The final day of Tabernacles was also a Sabbath, a day of solemn assembly. At this time of year the former or early rains fell (late October / November) when the fields were plowed and sown.

I think the translators got the Feasts confused trying to make everything fit into the Savior paradigm but, God in his mercy has left us clues on what went on during the Feast and how the Messiah really fit into that scheme.

Ausar and Aset

Now, let us look at the Egyptian roots of this Hebrew Feasts starting with Osiris and Isis.

How greatly the story of Osiris and Isis influenced the ancient world outside of Egypt can be understood from the speculation which Plutarch commits himself to:

'This thing that our priests today, with prayer for mercy and in dim revelation, most reverently do hint, even that Osiris is King and Lord among the dead, bewilders the minds of most men who know not how the truth of this thing is.

For they fancy that Osiris, in whom most surely is all holiness of God and nature, is thus said to be in the earth and beneath the earth, where are hidden the bodies of those who seem to have had their end. But Osiris' self is far indeed from the earth, untouched, undefiled, immaculate of all substance that admits of corruption and death.'

The Greco-Roman version of the Osiris story is Dionysus or Orpheus so when you see either name it relates back to Egypt. the Hebrews were influenced in their latter years by the Hellenists [Greeks], who stole their system of worship, philosophy and religion form the Egyptians, and the Hebrews in the time of Jesus was also influenced by the Essenes who were called the Children of the Sun -who got their religious understanding from Anu or On [the Greek Heliopolis].

'Although historians differ in details, they generally agree upon the major facts concerning the Essenes. For example they agree that this pioneer group of mystics was of "dateless antiquity", as Pliny declares. The Talmud speaks of the brotherhood as the "Holy community in Jerusalem", while Strabo mentions "the Essenes in Heliopolis with whom Plato and Eudoxus consulted".

Josephus, a member of the organization for a time, writes of Jesus as a member, and considers the Essenes to be the oldest of ascetics, tells us the resurrection or continuity of life after so-called death, in communication with angels and declared that it was from Egypt that their doctrines spread abroad. Philo calls the mystic group "Champions of Virtue", a people by themselves more remarkable than any other in the wide world".'

The Hebrews were highly influenced by the Egyptians because they were their children and they continued to interact with them over a course of thousands of years.  Even with the Biblical Exodus, their captivity in Babylon, Persia and later with Greek and finally Roman influences their connection with Egypt still lay beneath their worship, Feast days, traditions, writings, poetry, and iconography. Their pictures of death, burial and resurrection were the same.

' Joseph threw himself on his father, crying and kissing his face.  then he gave orders to embalm his fathers body.  It took 40 days, the normal time for embalming.  And the Egyptians mourned for him 70 days...when they came to the Threshing place, at Atad east of Jordan they mourned for along time, and Joseph performed the mourning ceremonies for 70 days.

When the Canaanites saw those people mourning at Atad, they said, 'What a solemn ceremony of mourning the Egyptians are holding! That place is called Abel-Mizraim or Meadow of Egypt or mourning of Egypt. Gen. 50:4-11.

So much for that 3 day burial ritual that came about after the Exile. In this ceremony Israel was buried in the manner of the Egyptians. What does that mean?

Let me not reinvent the wheel - click here for that:

Just as the Hebrew Feast to celebrate the Creator were the same as the Egyptian with a few modifications, other cultures like the Canaanite, owed its understanding of the significance of salvation, resurrection and fellowship with the Creator to Egyptian culture also.

Throughout nay given summer, the nations reaped a harvest and in the fall there was the Greater Harvest.  The spring and Fall months became important in the cycle of celebrations.

The greater Harvest came at the end of summer. they stored food for the winter and depending upon the fertility of the land, the wisdom of the master farmer, who understood the 'moedim' and how they aligned themselves and the blessing from the Creator, they would survive to see another prosperous year.  ['Moedim']

In the more fertile areas along the African Nile, Zambezi, Tigris and Euphrates rivers and many other lakes and fresh water areas, the people grew and flourished, and their dependence on the overflow or flooding of these areas was essential to the 'good soil' for growth of their foodstuffs.

Zera is the Hebrew word for seedtime - from the root zara to sow or disseminate, plant, seeds of life whether farming or producing children.

"While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" (Genesis 8:22).

Man began to see that the forces of nature created by God has a control on his life.  When it rained crops grew, when it did not crops died.  He also realized that the fertility of his mate depended on the times and seasons.

The Hebrew word for overflowing [ water] is zerem to flood or overflow, from the root word zaram: to gush, to carry away with a flood, or pour out.  As in a flood or in a woman's menstrual cycle.

Pliny the Elder was a natural historian who described the fineness of the balance of the flooding on the Nile.  He says that there is a specific amount of flooding that will produce the best fertility along the Nile, stating that too little flooding means that not enough irrigation is produced for all areas, and that too much slows up agriculture because it retires too slowly and the sowing time is delayed because of the moister levels of the soil.'

Both  observances are cited in the preparing the land/Womb for seed. Mankind came to the conclusion that the world and universe mirrored themselves and vice versa, which produced the axiom:

 "As above, so below,"

'As in Heaven, so on Earth'

This term was later represented by the Seal of Solomon or Star of David or the Star of Bethlehem and the precept is:

 "Man, Know Thyself."

The body is the house of God. That is why it is said, "Man know thyself."

'In ancient Kemet (Egypt), on the portals of several temples and in their proverbs and it aid:  "Know Thyself." The Greeks attributed this statement to the philosopher Socrates, without ever mentioning that Socrates was trained in Africa, in the same temples previously mentioned. [ excerpted from Dr. Kwaku Person-Lynn]

'The significance of these phrases is that it is believed to hold the key to all mysteries. All systems of the hidden are claimed to function by this formula. "'That which is above is the same as that which is below'...Macrocosmos is the same as microcosms.'

The Greeks after  seeing it written on the halls and temples of the universities [called mystery] schools in Kemet took it for their own.  In recent years the modern Cabbalists [ medieval mystic Jews] have co-opted this expression and concepts.

The symbol of above below pyramid otherwise known as the Star of David or Seal of Solomon, Some say it is the double D piercing the sky and land.  The origin of the Star of Bethlehem was said to be brought to the world (Egypt) in ancient times by the Gods as a gift to the human race. It is the symbol for understanding ' as it in heaven so may it be on earth.' Some cultures have used it as the symbol for sexual union resulting in Pro-creation, other viewed it as the reflectiveness of the pyramid and the capstone that beam out to the universe.

'The Star of David was to be a symbol of the linkage between heaven and earth, male and female'

Egyptian tombs and sepulchers heaven is indicated by five-pointed Stars. It is interesting to note that the Egyptian hieroglyphic for the "morning star" has the literal meaning "Divine knowledge". The morning star, usually identified with Venus.

Catholic Encyclopedia:

"The name Lucifer originally denotes the planet Venus, emphasizing its brilliance. The Latin Vulgate employs the word also for "the light of the morning" Job 11:17 and then as the zodiac signs in Job 38:32. Where in Hebrew it is helel, Septuagint heosphoros, and the Vulgate lucifer.

The Persian influence on the Scriptures:

The word "devil" comes from the Sanskrit/Hindi word "deva," which refers to the good angels of the Hindu pantheon. The root of both "devil" and "deva" means "divine."  "The Devas of the [Hindu] Veda are the bright gods who fight on the side of Indra; in the [Zoroastrian] Avesta the word has come to mean an evil spirit, and the Zoroastrian was bound to declare that he ceased to be a worshipper of the daevas...It was only after Zoroaster and the Persians conquered Hindu territory that they felt compelled to make the Hindu gods into devils! Thus, the Hindu devas became the Persians devils. [Rev. George Cox -  Mythology of the Aryan Nations (Longmans, 1870, pp. 355, 363)]

"...the word devil passed into an immense number of forms, the Gothic tieval, diuval, diufal, the Icelandic djofull, Swedish djevful, all of them, together with the Italian, French, and Spanish forms carrying back the word diabolos [diabolos] to the same root which furnished the Latin Divus, Djovis, and the Sanskrit deva."

Knowing this, about the origins of divine knowledge and the term morning star, why would these terms be attributed to Jesus in the Revelation of John?

'...I AM THE BRIGHT AND MORNING STAR.'

REV. 22:16

Now, don't get you panties in a knot...when the Bible was written the people understood a certain concept.  Judaism like Christianity had a root - it did not grow up in a vacuum and neither did you!

Were you influenced by you peers? Do you use the same words and concepts as this or any other generation? Do you watch TV or listen to the news or rent any videos?  Were you educated in the good ole USA or anywhere they have the corporate learning system? Well, if you say yes...then you understand how the growth of Judaism and Christianity worked!

When Jesus or the Apostles spoke, their concepts was understood in a certain historical way.  NOT the way we understand today.

Example:

When we say bad today it means good - in our parents time it meant terrible or naughty. Just as when the children of generations under use the word DOPE,  they meant good or on the cutting edge, then in the 70's to us it meant drugs. BUT to our parents it meant STUPID or a Dunce

In only two generation one word had made three changes!

So, when the term Bright and Morning star or Day Star is used you need to go back to the ancient meaning that was acceptable to the time. The ancient meaning ALWAYS pointed to the STARS.

We see that the Bible deals in agriculture and cosmology and in other places husbandry. This is important to understand when looking at the types and shadows of Egyptian culture woven into the Hebrew Feasts.

Birth of a Star

Two extra holidays were added to the Biblical Feasts:

Purim- We will talk about the Egyptian roots of Purim later in this essay.  But the word Purim is derived from PURU an Assyrian word meaning 'lots'.  The story in the book of Esther has Haman, a Persian persuaded Ahasuerus (Xerxes), king of Persia, to have all the Jews in the king's realm destroyed.

'In Babylon, the New year had long been the time when fate was determined for the coming year. It was determined by drawing lots. "Purim" is the plural of "Pur," which is neither a Semitic nor a Persian word.

The Assyrians, however, did have a word "Puru" meaning a stone that could be used like a dice for casting lots, and its use in such a sense has been found on Assyrian tablets.

Purim is a curiosity in Judaism because it does not appear in the law of Moses. Jews and Christians are surprised that a scriptural book has no mention of Yehouah/Yahweh, or God in any form, prayer, worship or the law of Moses, though the Jews are spoken of as having their own law.'

In Sanskrit: Esther, "fullness," A God in the Assyrian triad, his colleagues being the Sun and Moon. His name may be read Eva, Iva, Air, Aer, Aur, Er, Ar, also Vul. ][see Vulva]

Where does Purim come from? Let's piece together the name Esther, what does it sound like to you?

Esther - The book is named after the character "Esther/Istar/Estarte" In Hebrew the title is rtsa which may be derived from the Persian word for star, stara. This relates back to the Egyptian root of Isis being representative of the star Sirius.

Sirius

Wow here's Sirius again now related to Esther and Purim.  Remember Sirius is the Dog Star related to Isis and Osiris.  Well lets look at another African connection.

The Dogon people of West African have known about - Sirius A and its Twin the invisible star Sirius B, for the past 5,000 years. They are have also been aware of the planets circle the sun in elliptical orbits, the four moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn.

The Dogon people have described perfectly the DNA pattern made by this elliptical orbit created by the two stars as they rotate make around each other. They believe Sirius to be the axis of the universe, and from it all matter and all souls are produced in a great spiral motion.

DNA?  DNA?  The stuff of life is seen in the heavens and then relates to the female and male on earth.

The circuit of Sirius DNA:

More about the Dogons

In the Egyptian Creation story has Isis and Osiris as the son and daughter of Geb and Nut.  Isis was pictured with a throne on her head and in Rome here name became Stella Maris, or "star of the sea" [ sea being the heavens]. the Dogon people understood that Sirius and it's orbit appeared to be the picture of DNA long before Watson and Crick were born.  The Dogon and Egyptian have similar thoughts about the Dog Star. [ maybe because they were cousins?]

'As it turns out, Dogon descriptions and drawings run parallel to the actual scientific structure of matter, starting with the atom and continuing all the way down to the vibrating strings of string theory, and include descriptions of esoteric behavior of matter at the most fundamental levels. Key elements of this same structure are found in ancient Egypt, often times in greater detail than the Dogon. The Egyptian hieroglyphic words which describe how matter is formed are written with glyphs which precisely match scientific diagrams from string theory. The many similarities between Dogon and Egyptian cosmological references all but preclude suggestions by Belgian anthropologist Walter Van Beek that they could have been the product of Dogon priestly invention.'

'Whatever knowledgeable authority composed the Dogon myths was exceedingly thoughtful of future researchers.  Carefully chosen words were used to define each concept – words with double and sometimes triple meanings.  When it came time to trace these concepts to Egyptian mythology (the original intention of the research), the Egyptian hieroglyphic language provided clear counterparts to the Dogon words – pronounced the same way, carrying the same multiple meanings, and written using glyphs which replicated the Dogon symbols – the very definition of an identity between concepts.

When we see the same word turn up with the same meanings in another culture – like the concept of the PO in the Maori culture (which for the Dogon and Egyptians represents the atom) or the concept of a Mother Goddess associated with spiders we know from the earliest reference that we have tapped into the same tradition.

'In Ancient Egypt Sirius was the brightest, and most important star in the night sky. Sirius was astronomically the foundation of their entire religious system. It was the embodiment of Isis, sister and consort of the god Osiris, who appeared in the sky as Orion.'

In the story of the Dogon they say that those of a Reptile nature gave them this information THAT IS CRAZY!  - I believe this is iconographic and zoomorphic language. They were the Egyptian priests or the Pharaoh who represented the reptile [snake] or amphibian, as seen on the head of Tutankamun the Lord of the Two lands."

Tut - Example of the Two lands represented by two snakes.

Could the Dogon have received this information about Sirius[ Osiris] through the Egyptian Priesthood?

I think so.  Remember the farther away form the source the wilder the myth. I believe that in this day and age and with the current European administration the need for mechanical technology is used because the spiritual technology the original Africans has master can not be mastered by the counterfeiter.  If we could swim without aid of oxygen tanks, if we could travel to the outer reaches of our universe without a spaceship or the apparatus designed to put a man in space.  If we could travel without the aid of an automobile, what would be the use of technology? If we understood the rudiments of how the world really worked and the affect of the sun, moon and other planets on our existence, we would not need machines and the pollution they caused to live and throve and multiply. If we understood out inward bodies, minds and spirits as well as the greater body, mind and sprit of the whole Creation when where would we be?  I believe that is what was know in the ancient past and what we have been forced to forget in our present.

Iconography: The art or representation by pictures or images; the description or study of portraiture or representation, as of persons; as, the iconography of the ancients. [See Below]

On every line of research we discover that the representation of nature was pre-anthropomorphic at first, as we see on going back far enough, and on every line of descent the zoomorphic passes ultimately into the human representation. Modern metaphysicians have so developed the faculty of abstraction and the disease of Subjectivity that their own mental operations offer no true guidance for generalizations concerning primitive or early man, who thought in things and almost apprehended with the physical sense-alone."

Sirius was the main star used for the basis of the Calendar used for planting, harvest, and Festivals.

'Then God commanded, 'Let the lights appear in the sky to separate the night form the day, and let them show when the days, years and religious festivals [moedim].' Gen. 1:14

Sirius also relates to the image of the Star of David. Now bear with us because I know this is a lot of information but, hopefully you can see that Sirius and Isis are on in the same and Esther is related to the Star.

The Seal of Solomon or Star of David is an icon brought form Egypt - traveling to India and returning to Palestine and adopted [by legend] by Solomon.

Isis' in the Middle Eastern is Astarte or Ishtar, which is the name Esther. So we can see that Ester and Isis are the same. Let's look at some more interesting rituals that happen during Purim.  This is also were Easter is derived.  Remember, it's all about Egypt it is either from the Catholic side or the Jewish side.  But all things came form Egypt and there is nothing new under the SUN.

As Above, so Below

What does this have to do with Purim and its mirror Easter?

Purim is a re-constructed play about the ancient Egyptian neteroo with Middle Eastern overtones due to the Hebrew exile.

One of the treats that are made during the time of Purim is the Hamantashen - called the ears of Haman, but that ain't what it is...are you ready?

The symbol of the [female] Vulva of Isis.

The Cowrie shell symbol of the vulva.

Cowrie shells are obtained from Islands in the Indian Ocean. In ancient times, the cowrie was currency much like our dollar is today - in fact they were still in use in some parts of the world (such as Nigeria) within living memory.

Though it has become one of the symbols of the African continent, it is fact that the cowrie played such an important role as money in ancient China that its pictograph was adopted in their written language for money. Thus it is not surprising that among the earliest countable metallic money or coins were cowries made of bronze or copper, in China.

The Cowrie Speaks...through divination, patakies (sacred stories of the Yoruba) in which the Orisa relate proper moral, spiritual as well as everyday methods to solve conflicts, through Ebo's (sacrifice), the cowrie speaks! The cowrie is the mouth of the Orisas since it is used in divination. There are related stories about the cowrie that teach about being humble and respectful to your elders, that help the cowrie to have the attributes it has historically as well as today.

If you are attracted to cowries it could mean that you are a son/daughter of Yemaya, a Yoruba ocean spirit associated with wealth and mother earth.

It is a powerful symbol about Africa, that people generally associate with Africans in America or Africans on the Continent wearing it. But since the late seventies when cowries began appearing on the vending tables of African American and African vendors around the country, the small white shells have become an easy multicultural fashion statement.  http://www.ifama.com/page7.html

Purim, the Feast of Lots, is observed on the fourteenth day of the Hebrew month of Adar (February-March). This is a celebration of the deliverance of the Persian Jews over one of the most dastardly plots in history to exterminate the Jewish people. The book of Esther in the Old Testament tells the story of how the beautiful Jewish woman Esther (Hadassah) and her cousin Mordecai thwart the evil Haman. [see Ichthus]

Purim falls more or less during the same time each year as the former Roman celebrations and the more modern Christian celebration of Mardi Gras, and that each of these holidays involves costumes, theatrical productions, dancing, singing and the generous consumption of wine may be merely coincidence.

The figures of Vashti and Esther, clearly in origin full-moon pre-spring relatives of the ancient mythological lifecycle goddesses, come down to us, in the Book of Esther and in rabbinic midrash, so disfigured and devalued that it is hard to know how to begin resurrecting them.

Purim's origins, scholars generally agree, derive from an ancient full-moon pre-spring Persian holiday; Esther is descended from the Babylonian Ishtar (who derives from Inanna/Isis) and Mordechai from the Babylonian Marduk.

(These gods are allied against the Elamite goddess, Vashti, and the god Humman, that is, Haman.) Ishtar, a universal lifecycle goddess, also rules the morning star and evening star, so Esther's Hebrew name, Hadassah, means "myrtle," In Assyrian it also means Star

Why did the Biblical Esther need 2 names?

The Myrtle tree has star-shaped flowers, and leaves which are vulvate or boat-shaped, again that fertility symbol that goes back over 30,000 years to engravings on cave walls. Esther, like Isis, overcomes fate, because the King, against the odds, stretches out to her his golden scepter, thereby allowing her to live. For many women, this part of the Megillah tells a deeply moving Jewish[?] story about female courage. 'If I perish, I perish.'

Myrtle Tree

Vashti and Esther, of course, are in coalition, not opposition. The journeys of females-Isis, Demeter, Inanna-are not journeys to find answers, they are journeys to gather something together, to make things whole. Even the Shekhina, the female aspect of the Jewish God, gathers up lost souls.

As Isis gathers up the parts of Osiris. Demeter searches for her daughter. Our themes, as contemporary women, are the same: to restore something that has been separated, to reconnect body and soul, to reunite Vashti and Esther, to integrate and reclaim the feminine that has been lost or abandoned in human history.

Esther must circle back to carry Vashti across the threshold into telling her story. And it is not just the girl's story that must be retold and reheard, it is also our mothers' stories-Vashti, Esther, and their mothers' stories, Ishtar, Isis, Demeter, and all the rest.  [excerpt from internet article]

On Purim the hats of Haman are made into the shape of cookies [Vulvas]. These are the same cookies [ sweet bread] that were made in Egypt in the ritual of Isis and Osiris and on the feast days. The bread is eaten at the Osirian communion.

Egyptian Triangle Bread

Is the Egyptian triangle bread a symbol of the female vulva? Is it again the symbol of the female principle, the life Chavvah or Zoë that represents the Pyramid and one half of the Star of David? These were left at the feet of the mummy and at the head was the Book of Coming forth by day.

Question:

Since Jacob and Joseph were buried in the way of the Egyptians did they have the bread at their feet and the book at their heads....YES!

'Everything is Everything!

In Hebrew, the "Star of David", the double-triangle pattern, is known as the "Mogan David", which is usually translated to mean "star" or "shield" of David.

But we can analyze the meaning of the Hebrew words to obtain a more precise meaning. The word translated as "star" or "shield" actually consists of two parts. "MoG" and "-aN".

In Hebrew the root MoG is the root that means magician, as in Magus/magi, and it indicates "manifestation." The letter "M" means "source of" (M=Mem="sea/expanse") and the letter "G" (G=Gimel="camel") means "action" or "carrying." The final "N" means "to go on forever" (as in the English, "go on to the Nth degree".)

David, spelled Dalet ("D"), Vov ("F"), Dalet ("D") in Hebrew, means to repeatedly do (Vov, "F") what happens at a "delta", the English and Greek meaning of the Hebrew word "dalet." David represents dispensing and giving out. (A line-like river fans out into a two-dimensional plane as it dispenses itself into the sea at a delta.)

Thus, in Hebrew, the double-triangle, known as the Mogan David represents the "dispensation of ongoing manifestation." In other words, the double-triangle represents the way one dimension pours itself out into the next dimension just like the way a seed pours itself out until it becomes a fruit.

The Double D or Dalet, the Haman cookies, the Egyptian communion bread, and the Pyramid are all saying the same thing... Egypt and the Neteru says.... look up for your redemption draws near!

Lets look at Chanukah - The festival of light or Feast of Dedication of the Temple.

'Chanukah is an eight day holiday which begins on the 25th day of the month of Kislev. It marks the miraculous victory of the Jews, led by the Maccabees [ the Hammer], against Greek persecution and religious oppression. In addition to being victorious in war, another miracle occurred: When the Maccabees came to rededicate the Temple, they found only one flask of oil with which to light the Menorah.

This small flask lasted for eight days. In order to commemorate this miracle, we light a Menorah for the eight days of Chanukah.'

The goddess searching for the dead body of Osiris; for this was the native Egyptian interpretation of a similar ceremony observed in Plutarch’s time about the winter solstice, when the gilt cow was carried seven times round the temple. A great feature of the festival was the nocturnal illumination. People fastened rows of oil-lamps to the outside of their houses, and the lamps burned all night long. The custom was not confined to Sais/Osiris, but was observed throughout the whole of Egypt.

All the feasts were modified, renamed celebrated and incorporated into the Hebrew dialect and culture from the Egyptian. These feasts have lost their original Egyptian meanings, but are celebrated in our present day.

The Hebrews having been heavily influenced by the Egyptian culture.  they concretized and co-opted the Egyptian papyri of Ani or the book of  coming forth by day, Egyptian feasts, Festivals, and modes of worship and made it their own,  especially after the return of the 'Law' in the time of Ezra the Hebrew scribe [Persian?].

they preserved the 'Feasts of Old' that are in the Hebrew scriptures.  Those Feasts of old and the Culture of the ancients was systematically destroyed by the advent of the Greco-Roman period in history. That was a mixture of erroneous Egyptian traditions along with Babylonian and European myths.

Little did the ancient European know that a remnant was being preserved in the original African Egyto-Hebrews, that exited Egypt possibly around the time of Ankhenaten.

The feast were a part of the cycle of agricultural markers and would have been celebrated at the equinoxes and solstices each year.  In the spring when the rains came and autumn the harvests was ready, in Egypt it was timed for the flooding of the Nile river, which brought fertile soil from the Ethiopian hills to the fields.

This was another reason Ethiopia was considered the mother of Egypt, because she poured down the nutrients of her land [ womb] in order to fertilize Egypt through the umbilical cord that ran through the center of Africa which is the NILE River.

The Hebrews as in the Egyptian custom, originally held their main feasts around the end of harvest-time.  Later it was split between the spring and Fall.

Before we start, we will have to try and walk the road of ancient understanding. please commit yourself to reading this essay in total and be like the Bereans and also to ' Study to show yourself approved.'

Let us start with the words of the writer of Genesis.

'Let the lights [moedim] appear in the sky to separate the day from the night and to show the time when days, years, and religious festivals begin; they will shine in the sky to give light[ sight and illuminations, natural and spiritual] to the earth - and it was done.'Genesis 1: 11

' The whole universe was completed.  By the seventh day [increment] God finished what he had been doing and stopped working.  He blessed the seventh day and set it apart as a special day, because that is the day he completed creation [ generations of the heavens].'Genesis 2: 1-4

Since the biblical festivals are largely agricultural and soltice and euquinox related it was impossible for Hebrews to keep them in their truest sense in any area outside of Africa.  The biblical festivals have always remained tied to the climate and seasons of Israel and North Africa, regardless of the land in which they were being celebrated.

The sabbath shall belong to the LORD wherever you dwell. "These, then, are the festivals of the LORD which you shall celebrate at their proper time with a sacred assembly. The Passover of the LORD falls on the fourteenth day of the first month, at the evening twilight. The fifteenth day of this month is the LORD'S feast of Unleavened Bread. For seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. On the first of these days you shall hold a sacred assembly and do no sort of work. On each of the seven days you shall offer an oblation to the LORD. Then on the seventh day you shall again hold a sacred assembly and do no sort of work." Leviticus 23:4-9.

First fruits:

The priest shall wave the bread of the first fruits and the two lambs as a wave offering before the LORD; these shall be sacred to the LORD and belong to the priest. On this same day you shall by proclamation have a sacred assembly, and no sort of work may be done. This shall be a perpetual statute for you and your descendants wherever you dwell. Lev. 23:21.

Green Ears - Spring

Fall Harvest

For eons man had always depended on his understanding of the forces of nature [sun, moon, stars, planets] in order follow the earths cycle of planting seedtime and harvesting food. He looked to the skies as a map for everything concerning him.  When spring arrived he planted the seeds saved from last years harvest.  When the first-fruits sprung up he rejoiced and when summer was at it's end the Greater harvest would be reaped.

The Lord of the Harvest

Yahshua, according to the New Testament, spoke to his people in agricultural terms regarding their relationship with the Creator,  their nationhood and the end time-reaping or resurrection [rapture]. The Bible refers to Yahshua as the Fruits -Fruits from the dead and the first-fruits of those that sleep.

When the Apostle Paul speaks  the Feast of Trumpets or the Last Great day the trumpet is sounded and the dead in Messiah rise first, it relates to the Harvest of the faithful and just.

other Biblical references speak of a time when the reaper s [ angels] would be sent and separate the wheat from the chaff.  Wheat being the main staple used to make bread in the ancient Hebrew world.  He also referred to Israel and the whole world. as the harvest.

'He has his winnowing shovel with him, to thresh out all the grain and gather the wheat into his barn; but he will burn the chaff into a fire that can not be quenched.' New English Version Luke 3:17

Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable. NKJV

Egyptian Winnowing Fan

Egyptians used the winnowing fan to toss grain in the air, where the chaff would blow away in the wind. To the Greeks the emblems of Dionysus was the winnowing-fan, that is the large open shovel-shaped basket, which down to modern times has been used by farmers to separate the grain from the chaff by tossing the corn in the air.

'Osiris/Asar, lord of the underworld, sits on his throne, represented as a mummy. On his head is the white crown of Lower Egypt (the north). He holds the symbols of Egyptian kingship in his hands: the shepherd's crook to symbolize his role as shepherd of mankind,

and the flail, to represent his ability to separate the wheat from the chaff.'

Herodotus found the similarity between the rites of Osiris and Dionysus so great, that he thought it impossible the latter could have arisen independently; they must, he supposed, have been recently borrowed, with slight alterations, by the Greeks from the Egyptians.

Note:  Somewhat similar customs are observed in Germany. In the Salza district, near Meiningen, a certain bone in the pig is called “the Jew on the winnowing-fan.” The flesh of this bone is boiled on Shrove Tuesday, but the bone is put amongst the ashes which the neighbors exchange as presents on St. Peter’s Day (the twenty-second of February), and then mix with the seedcorn. [ seed-corn is a term for every kind of seed].

So, we can see the term used in the Bible as 'Fan' or 'winnowing Fan' can refer to Osiris?   Hummmm...

'Whose fan [is] in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.'

'The harvest is great but the laborers are few. Pray to the Lord of the Harvest that he will send out laborers to gather in the harvest.' Matthew 9:37-38

Yes, many nations used a winnowing fan, but what was the origin and what did it mean and why was it related to Osiris [ Dionysus]?

It is necessary to note here that part the Egyptian mummification end process was to make the deceased look as much like a flower of wheat as possible. The homage to Osiris[ Sirius] was the eating of wheat shaped bread to be in communion with Osiris.

Why?

Because, they understood the future symbolism of a Great Harvest being reaped out of the earth, just as the Hebrews would later express in their writings. Shadows and types, shadows and types, that what we live in, shadows and types.

Is it getting hot?

'Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the Sabbath days,  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.' Col. 2: 16-17

The original meaning of Egyptian iconography and the stories that were told by using agricultural or earthly symbols was lost by the Hebrew re-interpreters.

King David understood the significance:

'Then the angel of Yahweh commanded Gad to tell David, that David should go up, and raise an altar to Yahweh in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite...Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons who were with him hid themselves.

Now Ornan was threshing wheat David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshing floor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground. Then David said to Ornan, Give me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build thereon an altar to Yahweh: for the full price you shall give it to me, that the plague may be stopped from afflicting the people.' 1Chron. 21:18-23

There is a connection with worship and agriculture. Why did David build an alter to Yahweh on a grain floor?

Let look at the subject of Iconography:

Iconography: The art or representation by pictures or images; the description or study of portraiture or representation, as of persons; as, the iconography of the ancients.

Orion and Tarus

The Egyptians looked up to the heavens as the source of their earthly answers.  They were not polytheistic, but used the attributes of nature in order to describe the almighty creator. Each symbol, carving, sculpture, painting, icon, amulet, and ritual was iconographic.

We employ the same methods and do not consider it paganistic...

'Behold the lamb of God, that takes away the sins of the world.'

Or we sing

'Mary had a little lamb.'

The image is of a Lamb of God. When we think of YahShua we think of a The lamb of God. Many pictures, especially ancient catholic drawings, statues etc... pictured a lamb with a crown on it's head. When we see a cross with a robe draped upon it we think of the sacrifice and triumph of Messiah. that is iconography.

The lamb of God

What does this picture portray to you? Christ!

But, it is a lamb carrying a cross banner in its left hoof, with the halo representing the sun around its head...well that Christian Iconography and that's accepted, while Egyptian iconography is reviled, but it tell a story of the ONE-GOD also, IF you dare to look.

What is the Ictythus?

The fish symbol is seen in the Greek word for fish (ichthus, spelled: Iota Chi Theta Upsilon Sigma).

It is an acrostic for "Jesus Christ, of God, the Son, the Savior" [Iesous (Jesus) CHristos (Christ) THeou (of God) Uiou (the Son) Soter (the Savior)].

ICHTHUS

An acrostic is an "arrangement of words in which the first letter of each line ordinarily combines with others to form a word or words or the alphabet.

But, is that the truth?

The Fish

'Ichthys was the offspring son of the ancient Sea goddess Atargatis, and was known in various mythic systems as Tirgata, Aphrodite, Pelagia or Delphine. The word also meant "womb" and "dolphin" in some tongues, and representations of this appeared in the depiction of mermaids.'

Remember we talked about the womb or vulva before...think!

'The fish also a central element in other stories, including the Goddess of Ephesus (who has a fish amulet covering her genital region), as well as the tale of the fish that swallowed the penis of Osiris, and was also considered a symbol of the vulva of Isis.' [ see Haman cookies] . The vulva is also called a cleft of Venus.

(Exodus 33:20-23) And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

God Yahweh of Phoenicia

Moses' Mountain - Mt. Sinai

The mountain has been associated with the moon, and its name links it with the Phoenician lunar deity Sin.  The monthly cycle of the moon, in contrast to the annual cycle of the sun's path, has been implicitly linked to women's menstrual cycle by many cultures, although rarely explicitly stated.

The fish was regarded as sacred to Ashtoreth [Esther: see Purim], the name under which the Israelites worshipped the pagan goddess. And in ancient Egypt, Isis is represented with a fish on her head and also a block of waxed incense or a step.

Note: The Cowrie shells represented the vulva of the goddess or woman and was used as currency for thousands of years.

The Fish or Ictyhus, was a sacred being. Fish are found among the venerated pictures and sculptured works of the Buddhists, Egyptians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Phœnicians.

'Coins of various Philistine or Phænician cities, on most of which Dagon is represented as a composite figure, human as to the upper part of the body, fish-like as to the lower. From this it may well be inferred that Dagon was a fish-god. e had face and hands and a portion of his body resembled that of a fish, in accordance with the most probable interpretation of "the stump of Dagon".

Dagon is sometimes associated with a female half-fish deity, Derceto or Atargatis, often identified with Astarte [Isis].  The Popes Mitre also represented the Fish head.

The Mitre -Dagon and Icthus

Ichthus anyone?

Has anyone told you the old wives tale that if you dream of fish some one is pregnant? Well, there is nothing new under the son. Old wives tales have a root too!

Here is another iconographic image.

The Bound Lamb (c. 1635-40) by Francisco de Zurbarán

"A lamb bound as an offering often appears in paintings of the Adoration of the Shepherds, a direct allusion to Christ's forthcoming sacrifice. Zurbarán's removal of the bound lamb from such scenes and its stark presentation on an altar slab yields a particularly impressive image."

Christians will understand the metaphor better. It is the Agnus Dei. "Behold the Lamb of God!" cried John the Baptist, when he first saw Jesus, "which taketh away the sins of the world."

What about Christ with a halo?

European version of Jesus and Mary

Jesus and the Nimbus

The Halo called NIMBUS, in art, radiant circle or disk surrounding the head of a holy person, a representation of spiritual character through the symbolism of light. In Hellenistic and Roman art the sun-god Helios and Roman emperors often appear with a crown of rays. Because of its pagan origin, the form was avoided in Early Christian art, but a simple circular nimbus was adopted by Christian emperors for their official portraits.

From the middle of the 4th century, Christ was also shown with this imperial attribute, as was his symbol, the Lamb of God, from the end of the 4th century. In the 5th century it was sometimes given to angels, but it was not until the 6th century that the halo became customary for the Virgin Mary and other saints. For a period during the 5th century, living persons of eminence were depicted with a square nimbus.

There are also triangular shaped halos that were said to represent the Trinity, but it may be a pyramid reference.

Apostle Paul

The image on the left is a mosaic from "The House of Dionysus" in Paphos Cyprus. c. 4th Century CE. This Divine Child with a halo looks shockingly similar to the infant Jesus, but in fact, it is the Egyptian savior-god Osiris. Images like this were commonplace.

Osiris with halo with twin serpent staffs.

Well, let take a look at another part of the world and see how much Egypt influences the so-called New World...The Americas.

The Andean Sun-god, Viracocha of Bolivia is shown at left engulfed in a halo of sun-rays, holding twin serpent-staffs symmetrically in each hand (c. 1800 BC).
Almost halfway around the world the ancient Egyptians created the same pose, depicting the Sun-god, Osiris, holding twin palm branches that terminate in serpents. Like Viracocha, Osiris is crowned with a solar halo in the form of the Aten or Sundisk (c. 1700 BC). [ See Ankhenaten, Anu and Heliopolis]...Thanks Rich!

Anglo-American Iconography

People living in America we do not recognize the symbols of this nation.  Primarily the eagle carrying 13 arrows in it's talons. We have 'Don't Tread on Me' a rattle snake, the California Bear, the Statue of the Goddess Eureka, Pomona, Columbia and so on.  these all are representative of a strength, characteristic or notion that is conveyed to the masses.

The Power of War

Arrows were first suggested by Francis Hopkinson, the consultant who did most of the work on the second Great Seal committee.

'In his first design, one of the two figures supporting the shield was a "naked savage" holding a bow and arrow in his right hand, and carrying a quiver of arrows on his back. The other figure was a lady "representing Peace bearing an Olive Branch."

Motto: "Bello vel Pace Paratus" – Prepared in War or in Peace.

When man first stepped on the Moon, the phrase ' The Eagle has Landed' was spoken.  Did an eagle really land on the moon?  No, it was a signal that the United States of America and its representatives have landed on the moon.

So, why when we look at ancient iconography we panic and read it as polytheism or paganistic?

Our Lord is an all consuming Fire, he is a nail in a sure place, the shadow in the midst of a dry and parched land, the Rock, The Bread of life, The wine, The meat, the meal. He is the King, the shepherd, the husbandman, our great high-priest, our brother, our father, the Creator, our shield and buckler, our high-tower, the Bishop of our should, the anchor, a potter...should I go on?

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:28-29

"He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi...  that they may offer to the Lord an offering in righteousness." Malachi 3:3.

In Isaiah 64:8, it is written, But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. (KJV)

Khnemu -spelled Khnum, Khnoumis, Chnuphis, Chnemu, or Chnum), in ancient Egyptian religion and mythology, a ram-headed creation god who shaped human beings on his potter's wheel. Associated with the god Ptah of Memphis, who was believed to have fashioned heaven and Earth on a potter's wheel, and appeared as a man with a ram's head.

We have icons used to describe the attributes and titles of our Creator throughout the Bible. Suppose we draw them out in temples or paint them in the hallways of our churches? Then 5,000 years from now [ if the Lord tarries] someone comes along and unearths those temple paintings and applies their modern cultural idea to what they see.

Crosses, lambs, fishes, crowns, scepters, bread, the sun, halos, doves, flames of fire, crown of thorns, robes on crosses, spears, golden cups, fleeces, and probably a thousand more... And what would the archeologists think about this generations?

We would be considered ignorant polytheistic pagans in the same way the European has labeled the African.  The sexual or procreative aspects of iconography was obvious.

Nothing is made without intercourse!  We say that we are 'Pregnant with possibility' or we are 'birthing a ministry' and don't think about it as a sexual inference.

We are speaking of the 'seed of the solution' or the 'genesis of gift' in the same way that the sages, or ancients or ancestors wrote it on their halls, walls and tombs.  They were not afraid to show themselves or their neteru unclothed. Genesis says of the first biblical man and woman...

'They were naked and unashamed'

Were they perfect not...and neither are we. Some foreign priests that came into power after the original Egyptian and Babylonians who mis-understood the cosmic significance and relationship with the Creator.  The Book of the Dead says man was here  millions on millions of years ago - and that Menes the earliest recoded Pharaoh was not the first ruler of Africa. When time past and the true meaning was changed or misconstrued the point of the union of the universe earth, god, man and woman and boiled it down to the aborrant sexual practices, which included, sacred prostitution, teaching catamites rituals sex and orgies. That came out of ignorance of the original intention from the original source told to the original people.  The son's of the Biblical Eli had a prostitution house set up beside the Tabernacle of God because they did not understand the sacred significance of purity in the site of Yahweh. That was Eli's fault.  Samuel the priest/prophet that anointed King David had disobedient sons too!

The original intent of worship and the iconography that ensued, was not just sex worship or exploitation, neither was it the worship of man as God, but man and woman as the image of God on earth.

At a certain time in history, the children of those who understood the creator got it right. They looked up to the heavens and from it calculated how to live on this earth and commune with God.  The King, Nebus, Neges, Pharaoh, or leader of a nation understood  that he was the REPRESENTATION of the national man and what he did, how he lived, and how righteous and faithful he was in his life reflected on his people.

He was the representation of the 'Great Father' and as it is stated that the iniquity of the parents would be put on the children.  The king and Queen were the parents of the nation [ world] and they would bear the burden for mankind. Just as the President of the United State represents the United States - so like it or not when George bush or Bill Clinton or whoever is seen speaking he is speaking for the NATION called America and everyone that resides within its borders.

That is why there is an Adamic Curse in the Bible, or at least interpreted as one.   They [Adam and Chavvah his wife] according to the Biblical account, sinned for the whole world and conversely, Messiah redeemed all mankind.

' Christ in us, the hope of glorification.'

Savior and King

The Pharaoh would count himself as the son of the ruling deity, he would take on those characteristics and become that righteous 'God' to his people, in the same way that Yahweh told Moses he would be god to pharaoh and Aaron would be his high-priest to release the people from Egypt.

Were their sex cults? Yes, I would suppose so.

The truth can be turned into a lie, but that does not negate that the truth was there. Do we have preachers that have harems in the church today? Yes, but does that diminish the truth of the gospel message?  No way Jose!

Now, look at this.

From the hieroglyphic texts of all periods of the dynastic history of Egypt we learn that the god of the dead, par excellence, was the god, whom the Egyptians called by a name which was commonly known to us as "Osiris." who says:

'I am Yesterday, "and I am Today ; and I have the power to be born a second time.'

Osiris with flail and staff

Orion the soul of Osiris

The oldest and simplest form of the name [Ausar] is written by means of two hieroglyphics, the first of which represents a "throne" and the other an "eye," but the exact meaning attached to the combination of the two pictures by those who first used them to express the name of the god, and the signification of the name in the minds of those who invented it cannot be said. In the late dynastic period the first syllable of the name appears to have been pronounced Aus or US, and by punning it was made to have the meaning of the word usr, "strength of the Sun-god Ra.

For similar reasons the suggestion that the name AS-ar is connected with the Egyptian word for "prince," or "chief," ser, cannot be entertained. It is probable that the second hieroglyphic in the name As-ar is to be understood as referring to the great Eye of Heaven.  The great eye in heaven is representative of the moon.

The name of Abraham's wife was Sari meaning ' Princess'.  Sounds familiar doesn't it?  Well, that is also where the European term Caesar, Tsar, Kaiser  comes from they have stolen the concept and applied it to their lineage [whether real or imagined]. It initially came from ancient African royalty, specifically Egyptian or Ethiopian. By taking this African name, in their minds, gave them the right to rule the world.

Ancient Historian Tacitus said:  Everyone knew that Abraham was an Ethiopian and he stated that it was a common opinion among the Romans that the Jews [ Hebrews] "were an Ethiopian race." In Roman times Palestinian-Israelites were classed among Black Africans because it was almost impossible to tell them apart.

So, Osiris is the picture of the first born form the dead that sits on the throne in the underworld [ Paradise?] and is called the great shepherd and the one who sends the reapers to separate the wheat and the chaff.  Does this sound familiar?

Let's read:

'Osiris/Asar, lord of the underworld, sits on his throne, represented as a mummy. On his head is the white crown of Lower Egypt (the north). He holds the symbols of Egyptian kingship in his hands: the shepherd's crook to symbolize his role as shepherd of mankind,

and the flail, to represent his ability to separate the wheat from the chaff.'

These corn-stuffed figures were bandaged like mummies with patches of gilding here and there, as if in imitation of the golden mould in which the similar figures of Osiris were cast at the festival of sowing. Again, effigies of Osiris, with faces of green wax and their interior full of grain, were found buried near the necropolis of Thebes. Finally, we are told by Professor Erman that between the legs of mummies “there sometimes lies a figure of Osiris made of slime; it is filled with grains of corn, the sprouting of which is intended to signify the resurrection of the god.” We cannot doubt that, just as the burial of corn-stuffed images of Osiris in the earth at the festival of sowing was designed to quicken the seed, so the burial of similar images in the grave was meant to quicken the dead, in other words, to ensure their spiritual immortality.

13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one];
13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

Astronomy and its cousin [original] Astrology are important in our understanding of the times and seasons or the Moedim.

When I use the phrase original Astrology I mean the plotting of the stars, planets, sun and moon and their effect on the earth, its seasons, tides, and other forces. To develop a calendar, you need a regular event that is predictable.  Not Jean Dixon!

'Astrology has played a major role in society since the beginning of civilization. The origination was in Egypt, and later in Babylonia.  In Babylonia the temple systems were created and staffs of as many as several hundred to several thousand people in various roles were "employed" to fulfill various needs of the priests. There were junior priests, counselors, musicians, potters, etc. Later, it became necessary to have military leaders and some of these became kings.'

These kings usually had in their company a seer, or "baru-priest." This person was an interpreter of the skies -- he would read the sky for warnings, which usually involved eclipses of the moon. It could be said that the "baru-priests" were the first actual astrologers. In order to be able to communicate with the gods, mounds were built which represented shrines. These, over time, grew to larger structures called "ziggurats."

The legend of Nimrod building a temple to the sky [ ziggurat] was an ancient telescopic highway. Nimrod was building a highway to the sky - a stairway to heaven.  Ba' Vel or Bab' El means 'Gate of God' [ elohim plural]' and not the Hebraic misconstrued word confusion.

Yahweh was represents by the moon because his month started in the evening. His festivals were moon oriented, Judaism Festivals were moon centered.  It is a recent phenomenon for a day To start at an arbitrary time like midnight when the sun is the regulator for a day, and the moon was the regulator of the months and years. the religion of Ankhenaten [ possibly the biblical Moses] is Sun centered in his worship.  The sun was NOT God, but the sun being a representative of the power illumination, warmth and energy as an attribute of the one God- the Aten.

Aten and Adon [Adonai] - The Pharaoh Ankhenaten, the first of the five Amarna Kings, recognized one power behind all the different deities [ neteroo] and heavenly manifestations in the light of Aten, or Adonai, and when his successor, the Pharaoh Tutankhamun identified/recognized the spirit of man as being part of the eternal spirit of God.

King Tut

'The name of the Egyptian deity Aten transliterates into the Hebrew word Adon, which is translated by English Bibles as "the Lord" (and Adonai, translated as "my Lord") is used along with Jehovah (Yhwh) in the Bible as the exclusive personal names of God.

Moreover, in ancient times [after their captivity in Babylon] the name Jehovah (Yhwh) was written, but never spoken.

Whenever the written name Jehovah (Yhwh) was to be read out loud, Adon (Aten) was voiced instead. The written form of Adon is infrequent, however, its limited usage is significant, especially in the first six books of the Bible (See under "LORD" in Strong's Exhaustive Concordance), where it is reserved for the following applications alone:

Moses addresses God using the title Adon/Aten (Exodus 4:10,13; 5:22; 34:9; Numbers 14:17; Deuteronomy 3:23; 7:26; 10:17); Moses, himself, is addressed both by Aaron (Ex.32:22; Num.12:11) and by Joshua (Numbers 11:28) using the title Adon/Aten; and Joshua also addresses God using the title Adon/Aten (Joshua 5:14 b; 7:7).

As mentioned above, there is an established relationship between the literature of the Egyptian 18th Dynasty and the Bible. Psalm 104 is an embellishment of the Hymn to the Aten which was found by archaeologists at the city of Akhenaten.

More than a majority of the Biblical Proverbs are attributes to Amenophis III who was the father of Akhenaten who worship the Aten as represented by the Sun or Solar Disk.

Thotmes III, Amenophis III and Amenophis IV were in appearance unmixed Negro types. Darwin was struck by the extremely Ethiopian characteristics of the statute of Amenophis III.

Easter:

According to the Egyptian account of creation only the primordial waters existed at first. Then Ra, the sun, came out of an egg (a flower, in some versions) that appeared on the surface of the water. Ra brought forth four children, the gods Shu and Geb and the goddesses Tefnut and Nut. Shu and Tefnut became the atmosphere. They stood on Geb, who became the earth, and raised up Nut, who became the sky. Ra ruled over all.

Geb and Nut later had two sons, Set and Yusir/Osiris, and two daughters, Isis and Nephthys.  Osiris succeeded Ra as king of the earth, helped by Isis, his sister-wife. Set, however, hated his brother, killed him and cut him up into 14 pieces. Isis finds and reassembles Yusir then embalmed her husband's body with the help of the deity Anubis, who thus became the god of embalming.

The powerful charms of Isis resurrected Osiris, who then ascended to sit at the side of the divine father Amen-Ra and who became king of the netherworld. Heru/Horus, who was the son of Osiris and Isis, later defeated Set in a great battle and became king of the earth."

The Messiah and Christ; temporal kingly titles came from "Karast" and "Messu", the Egyptian titles for Yusir, Heru and Thoth. Among the ancient pre-Christian cultures, eggs symbolized creation, fertility, renewed life and resurrection. In ancient Egypt/Kemet and Persia during the spring festivals colored eggs were eaten as part of the elaborate rituals in much the same way that they are being eaten today. Sunday worship service  -

In the year 307 A.D. Emperor Diocletian, a Sun Worshipper, was involved in the dedication of a temple to Mithra, and was responsible for the burning of Holy Scripture (which made it possible for later emperors to formulate Christianity, and thus began the Roman version of the Egyptian mystery system.

After the rein of Diocletian, the Roman Emperor Constantine, who was an early Christo-pagan (Christian) maintained the title "Pontifus Maximus" the high priest of paganism, and remained a worshipper of Apollo. His coins were inscribed: sol invictis comiti  which is interpreted as "Committed to the Invincible Sun".

During his reign Sun worship was blended with the worship of Yahweh, and officially titled "Christianity" by the Roman Empire and its' official church the catholic (universal) church.

Historically, the change from Sabbath to Sunday has been attributed to the ecclesiastical authority of the Roman Catholic church rather than to Biblical or apostolic precepts. The First, the change from Saturday to Sunday occurred sometime after 135 AD as a result of an interplay of political, social, pagan and religious factors. Second, the change originated in Rome and not in Jerusalem.

Christ never conceded to have broken the Sabbath commandment. On the contrary He defended Himself and His disciples from the charge of Sabbath breaking by appealing to the Scriptures:

"Have you read . . ." (Matt 12:3-5). The intent of Christ's provocative Sabbath teachings and activities was not to pave the way for Sunday keeping, but rather to show the true meaning and function of the Sabbath, namely, a day "to do good" (Matt 12:8), "to save life" (Mark 3:4), to loose people from physical and spiritual bonds (Luke 13:16), and to show "mercy" rather than religiosity (Matt 12:7).

Thomas Aquinas, for example, explicitly states that:

"the observance of the Lord's Day [Sunday] took the place of the observance of the Sabbath not by virtue of the [Biblical] precept but by the institution of the [catholic] church."

Christmas celebrations:

Winter Solstice has been celebrated in cultures the world over for thousands of years. This start of the solar year is a celebration of Light and the rebirth of the Sun. In old Europe, it was known as Yule, from the Norse, Jul, meaning wheel.

Today, many people in Western-based cultures refer to this holiday as "Christmas." Yet a look into its origins of Christmas reveals its Pagan roots. Emperor Aurelian established December 25 as the birthday of the "Invincible Sun" in the third century as part of the Roman Winter Solstice celebrations. Shortly thereafter, in 273, the Christian church selected this day to represent the birthday of Jesus, and by 336, this Roman solar feast day was Christianized. January 6, celebrated as Epiphany in Christendom and linked with the visit of the Magi, was originally an Egyptian date for the Winter Solstice.

The Magi - Persian influence on the biblical characters -[ Added by their captivity in Babylon] Daniel was one of the chief priests in the school of astronomers and astrologers.

'Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets up kings: he gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He reveals the deep and secret things: he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.'

Daniel 2:20-22

The Hebrew word ‘ashshaph" used in (Dan 1:20: 2:2, 10, 27; 4:7; 5:7, 11, 15) has often been translated as "astrologer," though not by the NIV.

In Isa. 47:13 we find the Heb. habar, haw-bar’, a primary root of uncertain (perhaps foreign) derivation; to be a horoscopist: -- astrologer. This is also used with the Heb. shamayim, shaw-mah’-yim, which alludes to the higher area where the celestial bodies revolve – air, x astrologer, heaven(-s).

In Dan. 1:20, 2:2 (Hebrew) and in Dan. 2:10, 27; 4:7; 5:7, 11, 15 (Chaldean version), we find ‘ashshaph, ash-shawf’; from an unused root (probably means to lisp, i.e. practice enchantment); a conjurer: -- astrologer.

'The Greek word Magoi [ Matt. 2:1] is translated ' wise men'. Magi and astrologer, has a literal, meaning pointing to ' one trained in astrology and dream interpretation, magician, sorcerer.  the literal translation of Matthew's magoi were a priestly caste [ from Babylon per Daniel].'

'the Mesopotamian magi (Matt 2:1-2), who were most probably professional astrologers, were able to both reassure and alarm Herod by offering him astrological reasons for their journey. The star has been a matter of debate also. The magi spoke of it as a single entity, but some scholars have regarded it as a conjunction of Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn.

Others prefer the translation "in its ascendancy" to the traditional "in the east." If the star was a single celestial body, it could possibly have been a nova in its final stage of existence, but this cannot be demonstrated. The Greek word magoi [mavgo"] appears again in Acts 8:9 and 13:6-8, to describe magicians rather than astrologers.'

So who was Daniel?  He was head of all the Astrologers, that's who he was.

Although they understood the 'Hosts of Heaven' [ Sun, Moon, Stars] Hebrew custom or Feast worship, centers around the moon. The Moon was the time clock.

'And the evening [moon] and morning was the first day.'

The title 'The Lord of Host is not just an Military term - it is a celestial term for the 'Host of Heaven.

'In the Old Testament the Hebrew word for Host tsava’ "army" (Gen. 21:22, RSV "army," NIV "forces"); angels (Josh. 5:14, RSV and NIV "army"; Dan. 8:11); heavenly bodies (Deut. 4:19, NIV "heavenly array"); creation (Gen. 2:10); God of hosts (1 Sam. 17:45, NIV "armies"). Basically all the host of heaven is the army or heavenly bodies of heaven as in Deuteronomy, 1 and 2 Kings, and Daniel.

In the New Testament the Greek word for Host (of angels, etc.) is ‘Stratia’ an army, is used of angels Luke 2:13; of stars Acts 7:42; in 2 Cor. 10:4 it is ‘strateia’, warfare. Here we see it as the heavenly host or heavenly bodies as objects of worship.

Sabaoth is also seen as Saturn or Shiva or the "Lord of Host" (tsabaoth, army of the ship, or the crew, or a naval host), the sky is the "Upper Ocean" in the doctrine of the Chaldean Sabaeans. In this case though Sabaoth is the Gnostic Archon and ruler of the fifth sphere; he was son of Iao who was son of Ialdabaoth.'

Shiva the Lord of the Hindus was said to be Solomon and his symbol was the ' Seal of Solomon ' or Star of David. See the African Buddha

Egyptian, Babylonian, Dravidian [ Indian Ethiopians] Chaldean, Israelite and all of the cultures of Africa They could not depend on the flooding of the rivers they lived by with any consistency, but, they could look up into the sky and plot the ' Generations' of the heavens as their celestial clock.

Preparing the soil for seed and menses.

Is it Lunacy?  No, just the cramps

The Moon is the largest satellite orbiting the Earth, and is occasionally called Luna (Latin for moon) to distinguish it from the generic "moon". The words moon and month come from the same Old English root word.

Moses Maimonides said:

' moon worship was the religion of Adam.'

Ancient calendars were based on the phases of the moon,  and a woman's menstrual cycle correlated with those phases. The moon also governed sea tides.

Note: the communion cakes of the French ' croissants or crescents was known as moon teeth which represented the goddess Diana.

'The ancient Latin word for moon was Luna, which is why we talk about lunar cycles which are responsible for women's PMS attacks among other evils visited upon mankind..' unknown quote

The woman's monthly cycles seemed to be regulated by the waxing and waning moon, and when more than one menstruating woman was in a household eventually their monthly cycle would parallel one another. The menstrual cycle is important in preparing the womb to receive the seed [sperm] of life. These important events did not go unnoticed by ancient mankind.

Note: Underlayed in the name Adam from the feminine Adamah meaning 'body clay' though scholars more delicately translate it to mean red earth. Body clay is the formation of clay and [ menstrual or moon] blood from the one who is the Potter.

Genesis 4:20 says: 'The man called his wife [Chavvah] LIFE, because she was the mother of all living.

The word for Life in Hebrew is Chi or Chay [khak'ee] from the prime root word Chayah [ Khaw-yaw] which is a compound word meaning to live, revive, keep, quicken, restore or repair, to be whole.

Part of the compounding of the word Life is Chavah meaning to live or to show.  From this the translators pulled out the name Chavvah meaning the  Life-giver. In Amharic the language of Ethiopia the name is Hawan. In some languages it is spelt Chawwah, because the w and the v are interchangeable.

The V or vav/waw is and interesting letter in the Hebrew alphabet.  The Vav has literal meaning of a nail.  The symbolic meaning is 'and, add, secure, hook.' It could be a flesh hook, fish hook, or a hook on a door.

Hooks

Astronomically it represented the Ox [ symbol of Yahweh] and the concept of the Vav had: The power to connect and interrelate all elements within Creation.

Chavvah had 2 Vav's in her name.  She was the life of life. The progenitor of life. She had the power within her to connect and interrelate all the elements of Creation.

Vav A short sword, as for dividing good from evil; the Word;
Salvation/ Judgment/ Purification.
(u,v) position 8; value 8

' and the man called  his wife Chavvah [ life], because she was the mother of ALL living. Gen. 3:20

According to the Bible, Ish [Adam] and his mate Isha [Eve or Chavvah] were expelled from Paradise, and he became a worker of the land from that the cycles of the moon and sun became really important to mankind's survival.

'And he said to the man, 'You listened to your wife and ate of the fruit which I told you not to eat.  Because of what you have done, the ground will be under a curse.  You will have to work hard all your life to make it produce enough food for you. ' It will produce weeds and thrones, and you will have to eat the wild plants.' 'You will have to work hard and sweat to make the soil produce anything...'  Genesis 3:17-19

God had earlier indicated the moedim [ sun, moon, stars] and their generations were a link an original calendar.

' and now these are the generations [ family, History] of the heavens...'

Genesis 2:4

Generations is toleda - History, birth or descent. There is a history of the heavens telling of their birth, Ascent and descent .

Birth of a Star

Ascent:  The act of rising; motion upward; rise; a mounting upward; as, he made a tedious ascent; the ascent of vapors from the earth. The way or means by which one ascends.  An eminence, hill, or high place. The degree of elevation of an object, or the angle it makes with a horizontal line; inclination; rising grade; as, a road has an ascent of five degrees.

Descent: Inclination downward; a descending way; inclined or sloping surface; declivity; slope; as, a steep descent. A step or remove downward in any scale of gradation; a degree in the scale of genealogy; a generation.

Armed with these definitions can we now say that the generations  [History of a Family] of heaven was astrological? And by the movement of the sun, moon and stars mankind could plot the times and seasons and everything natural that would concern them?

There have always been Feasts FOR and OF the Lord.  Since time immemorial when man reaped a harvest, he knew instinctively to offer a gift to the Creator in a gesture of thanksgiving for the abundance that the created earth brought forth.

'Let the earth produce all kinds of plants, those that bear grain and those that bear fruit. 'Let the water be filled with every type of animal and the air be filled with birds...Let the eat produce all types of animals [ domestic and wild] large and small...and it was done.' Genesis 1

Even after the Biblical curse of the ground, the earth still produced.  Man just had to work harder outside of the Garden [Africa] than inside.  Prior to this the earth yielded it strength without much effort.  Man was created to dress and keep the earth.

Dress: Abad -Husbandman, serve, till, labor.

Keep: Shamar - Hedge, guard and protect, to keep safe and sure to be a watchman.

In this male female combination, the woman was the watchman. What?     Yes, she was!

The Bible says she was a help-meet. The definition for Help and Meet is the same word, a double word or word repeated intensifies the word. The Hebrew word Ezer derived from the word Azar meaning to protect and aid, to help or succor.

Again, When the same word is used twice or compounded together as in Help-meet then it is symbolizing the intensity of the word.

Chavvah - LIFE with a double Vav had the power within her to connect and interrelate all the elements of Creation, and was there to protect, aid, help and succor her husband and all who came form her womb, and her womb aligned with the moon and was a representation of the elements that they had to understand and flow with.

Vav - A short sword, as for dividing good from evil; the Word; Salvation/ Judgment/ Purification.

Nut and Geb Arch

Sky over Earth

Egyptian Neteru Nut/Nuit

Nut was originally a mother-goddess who had many children. Her name is pronounced 'Noot'. 'Nuit' meaning 'Night.' The hieroglyph for her name, which she is often seen wearing on her head is a water pot, but it is also thought to represent a womb.  She also plays an important role in creation story.

Now let us stop because some of you will get hung up on the word Gods and Goddesses.  Well the Egyptian word for the elements/Created ones was Neteru.

'The Egyptians perceived the ultimate Divinity as having both manifest and non-manifest components.  That which was non-manifest was formless, nameless and beyond mortal description.  It was out of this self-aware formlessness that all form arose --- the sky, the stars, the earth, water, humans, animals, vegetation, and so on and so forth.  Furthermore, according to ancient Egyptian cosmology, form itself has certain systematic and predictable archetypal principles called neteroo.

Unfortunately, the word neteroo was mistranslated in modern  times as “gods and goddesses” resulting in a great deal of misunderstanding regarding the Egyptians’ beliefs and practices.

For example, over the ages the neter Ra has become personified as the Egyptian “sun god” rather than solar force, a natural element of nature.

Did you get that?

The translators mistranslated the word and applied the term God and Goddess to make it seem like they were polytheistic pagans. They applied this erroneous principal of godhood that they adhered to, in order to say everyone else were pagan except them! when It was the Solar force that represented the attribute of the Unseen God!

How can people who know nothing about your culture - interpret what and who you are?  Well, it has been going on for thousands of years.  When the so-called Occidental [European] world replaced the oriental [ African, Asian, Islands of the sea] World.

Oriental  - pertaining to the orient or east; eastern; concerned with the East or Orientalism; -- opposed to occidental; as, Oriental countries.

Occidental  - denoting or characteristic of countries of Europe and the Western Hemisphere; "occidental civilization"; "Hesperian culture" an artificial language a native inhabitant of the Occident or west.

Even in the definitions of the world cultures they try to leave out Africa!

So, we see that seedtime Harvest of the land and his woman or mate, the orbiting of the planets, the stars in the sky and the sun and moon had it's effects on mankind.

Who were the first Biblical people?

Adam and Chavvah according to the Bible, were to watch and protect the Garden [from what?] and Adam serve as the husbandman [ like Messiah] to the unique area he was placed in. His wife was to be the equal opposite [Shekinah].  He had the watching-watcher, a helping-helper, the comforting-Comforter...sound familiar?  He had life by his side that was his wife.  The one who carried the receptacle of life which was the womb.

Adam first son Cain was a farmer and Abel is second son was a shepherd.  When a time of approaching God was proclaimed Cain was said to have brought an offering not fitting for the occasion while Abel did.  This action resulted in the first murder according to the Biblical account.

Ancient Farming

'Hevel [Abel] kept sheep, while Cain worked the soil. In the course of time [when the time was right for the feast of sacrifice] Kayin brought and offering to the Lord form the produce of the soil and Hevel too brought form the firstborn sheep including their fat.  The Lord accepted Hevel's offering, but did not accept Kayins.'

Genesis4:1-8

Gifts, offerings and sacrifices were important in the relationship of the Creator and mankind. The Biblical Adam offered sacrifices and offerings and he taught his children to do the same.  Feasting and sacrifices were talked about in the book of Job which is said to be the oldest book of the Bible.

'It was the custom of his sons to give banquets, each on his set day in his own house, and they would invite their three sisters to eat and drink with them.  After a cycle of banquets. Job [Iyov] would send them to be consecrated; then he would get up early in the morning and offer burnt offerings for each of them, because Job said,  ' My sons might have sinned and blasphemed God in their thoughts.' this is what Job did every time.' Job 1: 4-5

I don't think these were just birthdays or frivolous times of partying, the wording does not support it.  It says they would give a banquet or feast each on his set day.  After a cycle of banquets or feast , Job would consecrate his children and offer up a sacrifice just in case they may have blasphemed God in their thoughts.

As time progressed, and we see that sacrifice, appointed times, feasts and fellowship was paramount in man's relationship with his Creator. The Israelites were no different and if Job was written before Moses put pen to paper [chisel to rock] this was going on long before there was an Israelite.  We know it was based on the cultural history of Africa.

A feast is a banquet, dinner, a delight, a presentation of all you had worked for and been blessed with done to mark an occasion.

That occasion was marked by the seasons.  The occasion was ordered by God or in reverence to a god in accordance with the harvest of the land.

The Feast of the Hebrews were instituted to mark the changes in the seasons [ moed], and within those seasonal changes to worship Yahweh as the central figure for their survival and prosperity. It also, according to scriptures, pointed to a greater truth that would be the seed of Messiah.

We will not reinvent the wheel and go over Christmas, New Year and Easter please read look above or read  The Culture of Yahweh and the Religion of Jesus for that information.

So, the Hebrews understood the concepts of SEEDTIME and HARVEST and according to the Bible they set aside feasts [originally Egyptian/Canaanite] to Yahweh.

Yahweh

' and the Lord Gave Mos[es] the following regulations for the festivals when the people of  Israel are to gather and worship... Proclaim the following festivals at the appointed times.

Leviticus 23: 1-44

To find the feasts the breakdown is in Leviticus 23, and reiterated in Deuteronomy and Numbers and when they are to be celebrated according to the Hebrew Calendar.

Feast were nothing new and unique in history, but for the Israelite [Sons of IsRaEL] Hebrews those who came over the water, or crossed over their first corporate Festival [Pesach] initiated their independence from their parents, the Egyptian.

Question - Why were all the Pharaoh's that interacted with the Patriarchs and Moses unnamed?

The change of leadership from the unnamed Pharaoh [ meaning Great House] of the Bible, to Moses [The Egyptian name meaning Son or Child] and from a change in the center of worship ANU/ON the Holy City in the Desert, and [not a City of Desolation as the European redactors would say], to 3 days out and then onto the City of Jerusalem.

' and Jacob went to Sukkoth, where he built a house for himself and shelters for his livestock. That is why the place was named Sukkoth. Genesis 33:17

'The Israelites set out on foot from the city of Rameses [ son of Ra] for Sukkoth [the shelters].  There were about 600,00 men not counting woman and children.  A mixed multitude...' Exodus 12:37

Strong's' Concordance says there are a number of cities called Sukkoth...Now what came first the chicken [Egypt] or the Egg [Israel/Jacob]]? Let's look an see if they are the same.

The name of Sukkoth [5521] was already known in Egypt and the surrounding areas, Jacob [ Israel] copied the name and possibly the understanding.

Sukkoth meaning tabernacle:

' The feast of tabernacles [Sukkoth] begins on the 15th day of the seventh month and continues for seven days.'

Leviticus 23:33-34.

The word used here is Mishkan [4908] when speaking of the tents of Jacob. Mishkan is a tabernacle or a residence.

' The tabernacle [Mishkan] of Israel are beautiful like long rows of PALMS or gardens along side a river.' Numbers 24:5

Cukkoth [sook-koth] Succoth, the name of a place in Egypt and three in Palestine. Sukkoth - a hut, cottage, lair, or pavilion or tabernacle

There is, for the discerning scholar, a multitude of evidence to show that the Sinai peninsula was the 8th nome of Egypt and called by the Egyptians "Thuku" or "Thuket"the Egyptian wording for "Succoth.  Evidence on the Egyptian monuments shows that Succoth was a NOME (county) of Egypt.

The Festival of Sukkoth was already practiced in Africa-Egypt-Palestine/Canaan.

Scholars say the sons of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob originally worshipped polytheistically then moved on to a monotheistic or possibly Henotheistic worship.

Henotheism is the worship of one central or supreme god with other subordinate to him. called a cross between poly and monotheism.

Polytheism is the worship of may gods.

Monotheism is the worship of one sole god.

There are other variations on this theme, but let's just deal with these definitions for now. For a list of all the isms - please click below.

A Culture for All?

The Hebrew culture did not grow up in a vacuum. They were influenced heavily by the people they lived around.  Each time they adopted the way of the heathen [ those who lived contrary to them] and from it they fell into idolatry[ worshipping the creature rather than the creator] and were estranged from Yahweh.

As we have seen from other essays, the Hebraic language and culture and  borrowed heavily from the Canaanites and before their departure from Egypt they borrowed heavily from the Egyptian culture. To speak plainly...Egyptian culture had become Hebrew culture, because the Hebrews were Egyptian before and after their sojourn in that land.  See Moses for more information.

'' The Lord will reveal himself to the Egyptian and then they will acknowledge and worship him, and bring sacrifices and offerings...when that time comes there will be a highway between Egypt and Assyria...the Lord almighty will bless and say ' I will bless you , Egypt my people, Assyria who I created, and Israel my chosen people.' Isaiah 19:19-25

Words, Words, Words

When we read our concordances we see obscure words that the translators and writers will designated as a word of unknown origin.  That is simply because they are, in trying to divorce the Hebrew from his African roots, looking outside of the African to find a way to distance themselves from the historical Black Hebrew, while trying to co-opt the truth of his religious culture.

Note: All you scholars try finding out the real meaning of ZION .

Everything uttered has a meaning.  Everything written has an original source. Everything has a start or inception.  This is as true for Hebrews as it is for anyone else that has existed on this planet.

Let me repeat the job of Joseph and then we will go into it further below...

'In the eighth century B.C.E., the Egyptian Pharaoh's primary advisor, the Vizier, was charged with reporting the first appearance of the bright star we call Sirius after it had been missing from the sky for (depending upon the observer's latitude) approximately two weeks.'

The belief that the stars could influence human destiny does not appear to have reached Egypt until the Ptolemaic period. By the 1st century AD the Babylonian zodiac had been adopted.

The Festival of Choiak or Sokar

The festival of Choiak or Sokar rivaled that of Opet during the New Kingdom, but was a much older celebration. It was celebrated in the fourth month of the Egyptian civil calendar, lasting for six days during the interval of days 25 through 30, though by the Late Period, the festival grew to be much longer. Its importance is derived from its connection with the ancient importance of the god of the underworld, Osiris, and his link with the archaic powers of Memphis

The festival celebrated Osiris' resurrection as Sokar. It involved a huge procession with the image of Sokar being carried in a gilded boat [ark].

This festival is known from the Old Kingdom and it grew in importance due to the establishment of Egypt's capital at Memphis during the dawn of Egyptian history. We find it first mentioned in private feast lists of the Old Kingdom. However, it is also clear that the deity, Sokar predates the unification of Egypt and thus, Egyptian history itself.

Khnum -A very ancient deity. As a water god he was closely associated with the annual flooding of the Nile. His name means to create. He was the creator of all things that are and all things that shall be. He created the gods and he fashioned mankind on a potters wheel.

'Khnum appears linked with building a house, he was a Creator, and that he fashioned the child and its KA inside its mother’s womb ? Initially Khnum would be linked with the building of a wickerwork hut or shrine, representing the Universe, and made at the New Year (Khnum is also heavily linked with the Nile flood).

This hut would be made of reeds, as was the boat mentioned and as is the Sukka built near the Jewish New Year festival, at Sukkoth. But more luxurious versions could be made of bricks etc.' It is also similar to the boat that Mos[es] floated on in the Nile.

Sukkah 'the booth'

Ka

The KA is usually translated as "soul" or "spirit" The ka came into existence when an individual was born. It was believed that the ram-headed god Khnum crafted the KA on his potter's wheel at a persons birth. It was thought that when someone died they "met their ka". A persons ka [spirit] would live on after their body had died.

The Sokar festival was indeed a somber celebration, completing the first season. The last days of the feast were in fact observed with no small amount of agony and sadness. This part of the festival soon came to be associated with Osiris, who was considered to be dead by the central date of the Sokar feast (day 26).

The Festival of Min/Isis-  [The beginning of Easter]

This festival also opened a new season and was carried out in the ninth civil month, although its date was set according to the moon. It is perhaps not surprising that this fertility ritual is also known from Egypt's most distant past, though most of what we know of the festival is from sources that date from the New Kingdom onward.

In this celebration, the king cut the first sheaf of grain, which symbolically supported his role as life-sustainer of his people. It should be noted that this festival, associated with Min, was clearly one of fecundity and the virility of rebirth, and therefore the third festival of the year focusing on birth, with the agricultural aspect predominating.

Now, I had to get you through all that  before we started to look at the Feasts of the Hebrews.

These Feasts of the Egyptians were originally to worship the unknown god  and he was represented by different images or icons, just like YahShua is represented by a Lamb, Fish, Crown of Thorns, Bleeding Heart etc.

God raised up Moses in the center of Egyptian culture...WHY?

Well, you could say it was because that was where he wanted him to be.  He could have been anywhere, but Egypt had a handle on what was what, but according to the Bible Moses [ a name meaning only Son of].

The Hebrew Lunar Cycle:

The system of keeping time in the Old Testament was based on the cycles of the moon rather than a solar calendar like we use today. In fact, the Hebrew term for "month," chodesh, means "new [moon]," referring to the new moon that began the month. The lunar cycle played a significant role in the cultural and religious life in ancient Israel so that time could be counted by the cycles of the moon (Ex. 19:1).

The New Moon was a festival day, observed by burnt offering and sacrifices as well as banquets (Num 29:6, 1 Sam 20:5, 1 Chron. 23:31).

The New Moon festival was often listed along with Sabbath as an important religious observance (2 Kings 4:23, Ezek 45:17).  Likewise, the middle of the month or the Full Moon was an important marker of the passing of time.

Two of Israel’s most important festivals fell in mid-month (Passover, Tabernacles; cf. Psa 81:3).

The Hebrew lunar calendar contained 12 months of 30 days, which was also the customary period of mourning (Deut 21:13, Num 20:29). Yet the actual lunar cycle is only about 29 ½ days, which resulted in a year of only 354 ½ days. Keeping the lunar calendar coordinated with the seasons of the year required adding a 13th month to the lunar calendar seven out of every nineteen years. This additional month was added to the end of the year following the last month Adar, and was simply called Second Adar.

Wait a minute where did we see that before?

The [Egyptian] priests also observed there were four moon periods that fit into each of the three seasons --or rather didn't quite fit! The lunar month has 29 ½ days, resulting in "short" or "long" years of 12 or 13 new moons.

Here is another source:

Although the history of its development is not clear, the Israelites apparently adopted elements of marking time from both the ancient Canaanites and the Babylonians. Four months are known in the biblical text by older Canaanite names, while seven are mentioned in forms derived from Babylon. There are also preserved two New Years’ dates, one at the Spring equinox in the month of Nisan (Exod 12:1) and one at the Fall equinox in the month of Tishri (Exod 34:22).

Some have suggested that this represents both a civil and a religious calendar, with the civil calendar adopted from the Babylonians during the exile and the religious calendar ordered around the events of the exodus. It may also represent a blending of elements of both lunar and solar time keeping. A tenth century BC inscription known as the Gezer Calendar begins in the Fall and lists the months according to what was harvested in that month.

Hummm... they mention Babylon [we will get to that later] and Canaan but not Egypt....?

Yahweh was known as the Moon-god which was the luminary that was at the center of worship in Jerusalem, Midian and surrounding countries [even Ishmael and Esau's people].

Aten or Atum/Re was known as the Sun-god which was the luminary whose center of worship was On or ANU/Aven where the patriarch Joseph was Vizier to another unnamed Pharaoh.  There Josephs name was changed to the seemingly Egyptian name made him VIZIER of Egypt [ owned 1/3rd of Egypt] and married the daughter of the Priest of ANU or ON.

' Pharaoh call Yosef by the name of Tzafnat-Pa'Neach and gave him a wife Os'Nat the daughter of Poti'Fera priest of On.'  Genesis 41:39-45

The title of a vizier is: The Father to Pharaoh [Phr'o]

'At last Yosef could no longer control his feelings in front of his attendances and cried...I am Yosef your brother, whom you sold into Egypt...God sent me ahead of you to ensure you will have descendants on the earth to save your lives in a great deliverance. So it was not you who sent me here it was God; and he has made me a ' Father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his household and a ruler over the whole land of Egypt.' Genesis 45: 1-15

Note: Abba-Pharo? Could that mean Father to the Great House?

Although the name Vizier is of recent Arabic origin and the original title was Father we will look at the word vizier. Joseph the son of Abraham the Biblical Shemite [ Semite] was Vizier to Pharaoh.

Would a father name his son the NAME? What is the root of the name Shm/Shem?

Here is the explanation of the name Sem in Egypt.

The sons of Sem[Shem]

The hierarchy of priests consisted of a milieu of offices and duties. At the top of the hierarchy of priests was the high-priest, also known as the sem-priest, and as "the First Prophet of the God". The high-priest was often very wise in years, and old. Not only did he serve as political advisor to the pharaoh, but he was also a political leader for the temples he belonged to as well. The high-priest was in charge of over-seeing magical rites and ceremonies as well as advising the pharaoh. Maintaining a fairly ceremonial position, the high-priest was often times chosen by the pharaoh as an advisor, however, it was not uncommon for a high-priest to have climbed through the ranks to his official status.

Sem the Egyptian priests of Ra, who when fully initiated were allowed to wear the panther skin and call themselves Shem.

Re (Ra) was the Egyptian sun god who was also often referred to as Re-Horakhty, meaning Re (is) Horus of the Horizon, referring to the god's character.

The early Egyptians believed that he created the world, and the rising sun was, for them, the symbol of creation. The daily cycle, as the sun rose, then set only to rise again the next morning, symbolized renewal and so Re/Ra was seen as the paramount force of creation and master of life. His closest ally is Ma'at, the embodiment of order and truth.

Re's early worship really became very significant during the 5th Dynasty, when kings not only erected pyramids aligned to the rising and setting sun, but also built solar temples in honor of Re.

Ra was later fused with the god Amen/Amun-Ra [attribute?] and became the hidden one.

A bearded Man wearing a cap surmounted by two tall plumes. A ram, a ram headed man, or a ram headed Sphinx. Self created at the beginning of time - linked to the Zep Tepi [ the first time]- believed to be the physical father of all Pharaohs.

In fact, his name (Imn), or at lest the name by which the ancient Egyptians called him, means "the hidden one" or "the secret one" (though there has been speculation that his name is derived from the Libyan word for water, Aman. However, modern context seems to negate this possibility). In reality, however, and according to mythology, both his name and physical appearance were unknown, thus indicating his unknowable essence.

However, while hidden, the addition to his name of "Re" revealed the god to humanity. Re was the common Egyptian term for the sun, thus making him visible. Hence, Amun-Re combined within himself the two opposites of divinity, the hidden and the revealed. As Amun, he was secret, hidden and mysterious, but as Re, he was visible and revealed.

The term Amen used at the end of every prayer in Christendom is the name of the Egyptian God Amen - and not the Hebaricized 'Ahmein' a nonsensical word used to disguise the Egytian origins of the Hebrew faith.

Shem [ 8034] Strong's Concordance  Conspicuous position. Appellation as a mark or memorial to individuality.  Honor and authority, character. Shem a son of Noah.

Biblical Shem

Sem Priests

Conspicuous position Funerary Priests head of opening of the mouth
Honor and Authority Revitalize the Mummy
Character New Pharaoh would dress as Sem-priest

Well, we see an ancient precedent for the Names, Priesthood positions and Festivals of the Hebrews.

What is a Vizier?   The chief minister of Egypt answerable only to the pharaoh. He was responsible for the day-to-day running of the country. In the New Kingdom there were two viziers - one for Upper Egypt and one for Lower Egypt. The position became less important in the Late Period.

One of the duties of the Vizier of Egypt was what again?

'In the eighth century B.C.E., the Egyptian Pharaoh's primary advisor, the Vizier, was charged with reporting the first appearance of the bright star we call Sirius after it had been missing from the sky for (depending upon the observer's latitude) approximately two weeks. This first appearance of Sirius in the pre-dawn sky was used to start the so-called Egyptian "lunar" calendar year, which was used for purposes of regulating religious affairs and everyday life.'

Joseph who was married to the daughter of the Priest of Anu or On [ Aven] Potiphar, and his name means: Potiphar (Coptic), "Belonging to the Sun."

Joseph was Vizier of Egypt according to the Biblical account. He had a connection with On/Anu through his mother who named his only full-blooded brother Ben-Oni [later his father modified his name to Benjamin. The definition in Strong's says 'Son of my sorrow but' the name BEN-ONI, given to the same individual by his mother, may mean, literally, either "Son of Anu," or "Son of my ON.

'And it came to pass, when she was in hard labor, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shall have this son also. And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.'  Gen. 35:17-18

So, Joseph being a descendant of Abraham, a dream reader and seer and now Vizier of Egypt had to be well versed in the times and seasons [Moed] and the generation of the Heavens of the Egyptian calendar. He obviously took part in the Festivals that came out of that worship since he had married into the priesthood of On.  He was ensconced in all the ways of the Egyptian just like Moses would be.

Now, with a little more background let us look at the Hebrew Festivals!

Pesach/Passover:

Passover or Pesach, an eight day holiday (seven days in Israel) which begins on the 15th of Nissan, is observed in commemoration of the Jews' redemption from slavery and subsequent exodus from Egypt in the thirteenth century BCE. While Passover (so-called because God is said to have "passed over" the homes of Jews the evening before delivering them from slavery) spans over an eight day period, only the first two and last two days are full-holidays. The middle four days are referred to Hol ha-Moed or "secular days of the holiday" since Jews are permitted to work on these day.

The importance of the Passover holiday is inherent in the fact that, in accordance with the Torah, it is the only holiday where Jews are required to retell in detail the events surrounding the holiday. This recounting of the Passover story takes place during the holiday meal or seder, which is held on the first two nights of Passover. In Israel, and in the Reform tradition, however, the seder is conducted only on the first day. The seder service is conducted in accordance with the Passover Haggadah, or narration. Near the beginning of the seder, the youngest child asks four questions (Ma Nistanah) concerning the meaning of Passover. The adults then respond to these questions by explaining the history and symbolism surrounding this holiday.

As prescribed in the Hagaddah [the telling], the Passover service contains many rituals. In commemoration of the four expressions of redemption in the Book of Exodus, for example, four glasses of wine are typically consumed during the meal. Jews are also required to eat matzah or unleavened bread as a reminder of the kind of bread which their forefathers had to eat after they left Egypt in a hurry.

Harosset, a mixture of almonds, apples, and wine is consumed as a reminder of the mortar which the Jews used to build buildings in Egypt. This custom was later added by the medieval Rabbis.

In addition, it is common for Jews to leave a full cup of wine on the table for Elijah, who is said to be the herald of the messiah. It is traditional that the children at the Seder leave the table to open the door for Elijah, and upon their return, the cup is empty, signifying that Elijah has been in the home. Elijah represent the one who would come before Messiah. Elijah has a libation cup.

According to Robert Pfeiffer[ European Biblical scholar]

' The meaning for Pesach used in the Hebrew Bible for Passover, in spite of the late etymology given in Exodus 12:12.

The term:

'I will pass over you' was utterly unknown

Since Hebrew was demonstrably the language of Canaan [ Is. 19:18] before it was the language of Israel, the language of the Israelites in the desert in the time of Moses is unknown[ WHAT?] except for two [2] words which are not Hebrew: Pesach [Passover] and Yahweh.

Two things:

1. The often used 'I will pass over you' was not known or used until much later and was an addition to the text.

Ok, that is logical.  We have manuscripts that do not include this saying.

2. The language of Moses was unknown?

Huh? the language that Moses spoke was Egyptian, as was the rest of the Israelites, they did not stay sequestered over the 4oo year period.

NOTHING is utterly unknown and Moses' name, Aaron his brother and his sister Miriam's Had Egyptian Names. So did the festival they called Sukkoth and Peach. I would assume [silly me] that they spoke an Egyptian dialect with Egyptian cultural icons and feasts?

Aaron means - "The Heavenly On," "the God of Air." Aron was also the name of the Ark of the Covenant, both Egyptian names.

Oh yes; and so was the name of Joshua and Phineas! The name Oshea which was Joshua is also a derivation of YahShua, and the priesthood of Phineas was suppose to be everlasting.

Dr. Oduyoye counter this argument this way:

' ...at Agona Nkum in Ghana, the festival of Akwambo ' path clearing' is observed mostly by the youth of members of the Asofo [ group]. It is the beginning of the week of festivities, which ends with the main annual festival, Afahye, in which the chief remembers the dead leaders of the people and also introduces the new yam [symbolizing harvest].

Afahye [ afase] is the man festival just as Pesah [Passover] became the main festival of the Hebrews.  The Akan [read the Africans that wrote the Bible by Nana Darkwah] at Agona Nkum are not uncomfortable with the connection of Afahye with agriculture, the yam harvest which occurs in July to October

But, the Hebrews to distance themselves from the rites of agriculture at which the Canaanites [ and Egyptians] were experts, decided for ideological reasons to celebrate Pesah in April when no harvest occurs in the northern hemisphere.

They were therefore hard put to maintain the original meaning of Afayhe as ' main annual festival'. The Exodus from Egypt which according to tradition, took place in 'hodes habiyb 'the month of new flower [Ahmaric/Ethiopian] name Addis Abeba ' New Flower'; Edo Beni Obobo ' flower'.]

The problem with discovering the origins of Judaism is that ' Judaism is a religion that denies its origins.'

The Canaanite Festival of Passover:

'Originally, Passover was an agricultural holiday celebrating the BARLEY HARVEST AND THE LAMBING SEASON. The ancient Canaanites had a festival at this season which included eating flat barley cakes, a year-old lamb, and special, sharp herbs. They offered a year-old lamb as a sign of trust that the gods would provide more lambs during the next year. By offering a year-old lamb, they hoped to get more lambs back. We took those same agricultural foods and imbued them with special historical meaning for our people. The original foods became particularistic symbols of our redemption from slavery.' http://www.jewishgates.com/file.asp?File_ID=510

Shavuot - The time when the law was given unto the Hebrews in the wilderness, and the time the Ruach Hakodesh [ Holy Ghost] was poured out on the masses in Jerusalem 40 days after the resurrection of YahShua.

Sukkoth is the festival of booths (huts) or the Harvest festival; it is a time for thanksgiving. Sukkoth begins five days after Yom Kippur and lasts for eight days. the Ingathering.

How did we start out talking about Passover and then jump to Sukkoth? Because originally they went together and then they were separated many years ago.

Ask yourself...why was it when Yahshua came into the town supposedly at Passover that the people cried Hoshanna in the Highest? Those statements, the crowds and processional, and festive Palm branches was for Sukkoth and not Passover.

Nisan/Abib: The month of Passover has the sign of the lamb not a ram, and even Maimonides accepts that the Pascal lamb is the lamb of the Persian zodiac.

Hashanna Rabba  -  The Great Hossana

On the last day of the feast ( 21st Tishrei.  ) The day of the Great Hosanna  was celebrated.   It was the  climax of the day that was the climax of the whole season of feasts / holy days.   -  ( Hosanna  translates as "Save Now" ).  The people prayed especially for GOD'S salvation through Meshiach  or MESSIAH - (the anointed one)

A joyous crowd assembled, carrying palm branches a couple of feet in length.  It was said to resemble a forest in motion if seen from a rooftop.   There was silence in the crowd as the priest said the Hallel (praise) Psalm 118, to which the people responded at every line with Halleluyah.  The people processed seven times around the altar.

As they got to verses 25 - 29 they joined in with the words "Hosanna, make thy salvation now manifest, O Lord"  and  "O Lord send now prosperity" and they would wave their palm branches.   As they reached the words  "Baruch haba bashem Adonai  "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD", the godly would greet the coming Messiah in their hearts, knowing it applied to Him.

Palm Branch  - The Egyptians would put a notch in a palm branch to mark the passing of a year in the life of a pharaoh. It symbolized the 'measure of time.'

It was on this "last great day of the yearly feast", the day of messianic expectation, that Jesus said;

"If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink" John 7:37.

He offered living water to anyone who would believe and accept him.   He was saying "Look to me and be saved - I AM the great Hosanna."

Huts and Pyramids

On the question of why the word for Pyramid was male yet Pyramid and sarcophagus are referred to in one instance as "my mistress."    IMO the pyramid as rising land has  similar usage as the reed hut  sukkah in the Hebrew idiom.

note that s^ok is the male version of the booth.

Light penetrates the booth as a female while at the same time as the median hut of the autumnal equinox, the pyramid and the obelisk are male petrified sun beams.  The union of the male (palm)  and female (etrog)  is illustrated in the Bahir by putting the palm branch in one hand and the etrog in the other and bringing the two arms together.   A Kabbalistic commentator wrote on this but I have lost the reference.

A neglected area and connection in Lulav research is the circumambulation of the altar.   Abraham in Jubilees circumambulates the altar seven times. The king in the Pyramid texts circumambulates his lion couch throne four times holding the reed scepter.

In Egypt the king also circumambulates the fields holding a branch of greenery or the reed scepter in his office of "making green" the fields. [ Abib - green ears or green fields Tel-Abib].

I claim the scepter has its antecedent in the branch of greenery that was waived by the ancient Pharaoh as he circumambulated the fields in his office as rainmaker and cloud dispeller. University of Chicago

The Egyptians certainly did sacrifice sheep[ lamb]. Herodotus and Strabo both admit it, but suggest that there were regional, and probably seasonal, variations in practices. That it was done anywhere in Egypt, though, shows that Egyptians were not generally offended by it, though there might have been times in the religious year when they would not do it. Perhaps they would not do it in the season of the zodiacal sign, Aries.

The Pharaoh did carry a flail or shepherds staff - so they had memorials of shepherd-hood and was not adverse to the natural duty or religious and cosmic symbolism.

Herodotus says, however, that each year at the festival of Jupiter Ammon, the sun in Aries, that the Egyptians actually did kill a ram. The occasion can hardly have been any other than the vernal equinox—the very time that the Jews were slaying a lamb!

Both Jews and Egyptians had a festival at the same time of the year, when the sun was in Aries, and both sacrificed a sheep/Kid [lamb or goat].

The Egyptians apparently also had the habit at this time of marking everything in red using something like henna as part of the ritual symbolism.

The Jews had the same habit, justified as the marks of the Blood of the sacrificed animal made on doors and windows to ward off a angel sent to kill the new born children of native Egyptians.

The taboo for the Israelites was not to seethe it in it's mothers milk.  this was an illusion to Isis and the ritual of cooking a kid in the milk of it's own mother and sprinkling the fields with milk to represent fertility.  Hence the tradition that milk and meat can not go together in the ' recent Jewish' tradition.

But that was not the tradition of Abraham:

'And he[Abraham] took butter (cream), and milk and the calf which he had dressed and set it before them [ the angels of Yahweh] and he stood by them under the tree and they did eat.' Gen. 18:8.

In Egypt, March corresponded approximately to the month of Parmuti, sacred to the Snake goddess Rennutet, goddess of granaries and fertility. Since Egyptian agriculture followed the cycles of the Nile rather than the seasons, March there was a harvest month filled with festivals of abundance before the dry months to follow.

What does all this mean?

We have all worshipped, performed rites, festivals and celebrations according to the sun, moon and stars. But, who is it for? Who was the principle deity? Was it male or Female?

Was it Yahweh manifested as the moon-god or Adonai/Aten manifested as the sun-god? Both had it origins in Egypt. Some say Christmas, Easter, New Years are for Christians and the 7 feast are for the Hebrews - each have their nativity in Egypt

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, David, Solomon, Jeroboam, Paul  and Yahshua all went to Egypt for refuge, education, food, and shelter.  All the other [prophets and seers] were educated in Babylon, Chaldæ, India, and Persia. Those schools were all cultural offshoot of Egypt.

Why?

The Egyptians and their Kin [All Africans] understood the truth of the Universe first.  It has only been in the past 3,000 years with the advent of the Greeks and Romans that the original paradigm was changed.

Isaiah 43:3 For I [am] the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Savior: I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

Zephaniah 3:10 From beyond the rivers of Cush, my worshipers, even the daughter of my dispersed people, will bring my offering.

Isaiah 18:1 the land of the rustling of wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia.

Egypt/Africa was first the child of the Creator, Europe has obscured that fact.

' ...And historically, Egypt had a powerful cultural influence on Canaan from well before the Exodus to late in the first millennium B.C. An eighth- century seal of a Hebrew official dressed in typical Egyptian garb and standing over an Egyptian winged-disk icon, indicating that Egyptian ideas heavily influenced the royal court of the kingdom of Israel...the idea of an all powerful Creator has its roots in Egypt. There is was a central belief in most religious cults that a single creator was responsible for all of existence, including the appearance of other deities. The other nations of the Near East have no similar theology.  It is Egyptian views that initially influenced Hebrew understanding of the first times...' Gary Greenberg 101 Bible Myths

Africa has always been the origin of worship of the true Creator and  It continues to be so today by way of her children.

So, if you say HalleluYah or Amen, it is one and the same! Everything stems from the teaching of the African in and around the Motherland.

'Beyond the Rivers of Ethiopia'.

To be continued.....

Ekowa

Definitions:
